Fantastic! I am flying mine with a DLE 61 gasser and will be fitting exactly your setup this winter. I am looking forward to surprising the peanut gallery with a large electric WW1 aircraft doing aerobatics etc. Thanks so much for posting.
Nice flying. I prefer biplanes because they fly low and slow with tons of lift. We can enjoy those slow rolls without having to turn every 3 seconds with speeders. I just finished a scratch built 20 inch Bristol Scout made from 3 views.
A few questions please, the size of the ESC, prop size. We tried the manual speks for electric; 160amp ESC, Rimfire 1.70, 20X10 prop and 2 - 22v 5000 batteries. We taxied it and it didn't seem to have enough power so we did not maiden. Great flight and video with yours. Thanks
Chris Bottomley 14 hours ago That will work very well!! The plane can certainly handle up to 10000mah battery weight without issue. I will recommend the dubro 1/3 scale wheels or the equivalent. I had two pairs of stock wheels crack. I have about 100 flights on the dubro with no issues. I just pulled the axel out of the metal sleeve about and inch or so to accommodate the wider rim size.
@@jlester42 I did not use any bushing, just made sure the axle was the same diameter. I pulled out the inner axle rod of the ARF model so they would be long enough for the dubro wheels...they are a little wider.

@@chrisbottomley8619 Did you use a bushing in the 1/3 wheels ? if so, what size?
@@jlester42 No bushing. I used the stock axel, I pulled the inner steel axel out of the outer sleeve and inch or so. That’s it.
