But I definitely agree with you, they just don’t want him to shine which is mad BS since Z Broly is back to being broken.
Could’ve made his 2L safe on block or +2, along side of the 2nd 2M being the same. Just that lil frame change could add a whole lot more pressure from his normal pressure. Should definitely make his lvl1 reversal safe on whiff, since they wanna bs with Beerus DP being safe on certain lvl1 supers. Ugh just so frustrating, yes it’s rewarding to get a hit with S Broly but it cost so much to even open someone up.

At this point without some actual meaningful frame data buffs I’m not even sure how to save him. With how little people respect you online and so much more bs moves that just randomly hits and lead to basically the same damage but easier and better anyways AND the fact that connection is still trash so no point in investing in labbing the specific combos, I’ve got no words. I swear to god next patch is gonna be some other random ass “buffs” like antiair 2l for some reason but he is still gonna be hella unsafe for even breathing.

One handed spirit bomb is now OTG AND EVEN THE LVL 1 CAN CONNECT INTO SUPER SPIRIT BOMB!!!
Basically, do a regular air combo that ends with regular Heavy attack. As the enemy hits the ground, throw the One Handed spirit bomb to OTG (lvl 1, 2 or 3, they ALL work now) into Lvl 3 Super Spirit Bomb

56:58 'Eraser Blow buffs'- wrong Cloud. It's the buff to Gigantic Heave that increases the distance traveled during the move, makes it so you don't need to dash as perfectly to land the conversion. So the buff to his OtG grab indirectly buffs Eraser Blow *because* it makes the meterless conversion way easier

His candy beam isn’t useless anymore and he can now convert off it, with his new ki blasts he’s got even better neutral etc. He already got the beam changes and his damage back also, so he gets wayyy more damage and combo routes overall. He still has insane mix too. Literally all he needs/needed that he doesn’t have and didn’t get is a range buff to his 2h and his level 3 being able to happy birthday. Outside of that he’s fine

I have no idea what they were even THINKING with the 6S being plus change (I forgot if it was or wasn't before), its reflectable on reaction plus frames and he already HAD a plus on block move beforehand. What UI needed was better, longer range buttons with less lag, an actually improved neutral game and maybe some invulnerability thrown in there. Hell, give 236M and H on the ground full frame 1 invul or something crazy, it's mad unfair GT got that (even though I play GT so I'm mad happy lol) or Yamcha or other characters got that, but UI didn't.

I'm pretty sure they just stopped play testing their changes awhile ago. They don't care about game balance anymore. I personally hate how much this game relies on having fullscreen of massive safe on block invul moves now, but it's the only way they've been bugging every character for the past like 3 or 4 patches so if your character doesn't have some sort of stupid way to skip neutral nowadays you just don't play them point anymore.
This patch made me drop the game after 2 years and about 2.5K hours tbh so I couldn't care less anymore. Really sad how they ruined this game.

I dont even know what they were thinking. Last patch they said they were going to listen to community feedback, but nobody asked for any of this. The whole game is just a 1 touch carnival of bs blockstrings and jumpscare normals now. Every reasonable anchor can just 1 hsot characters with enough meter now - hell they gave Gogeta Blue a level 7 for no reason.

Seriously bro, like yes some of the changes are things people have been asking for like the bardock and trunks buffs, but Jiren, Gogeta and beerus DID NOT need more buffs like what the actual FUCK bro.
Most people have been wanting neutral to come back, and for them to get rid of the bullshit/cheap and unfair full screen/fuck neutral normals and ex moves, and for them to balance the broken shit. @JorgeSeguraArt definitely not. Getting to level 7 isn't exactly hard. Once he hit level 7, he was easily the best character in the game. He has a good mix, is great neutral, and does a lot of damage. He also has really easy combos, good assists, and is flexible on most teams. He's a crazy good unit and even more so now with his buffs. Thankfully, I thought he's not as cracked as Vegito right now. Him a low medium starter was the dumbest fucking decision they could've ever made.

All my mains only got little cool stuff. I’m glad but i wish they gave bardock a little more. It’s baffling that he still can’t combo off the grounded versions of medium or ex lariat. You still have to vanish or tag out which nerfs your damage and wastes your resources.
I wish he got faster ki blasts, a better crossup, ability to tag out into dr, wallbounce off fast tyrant lancer so he doesn’t need to vanish, faster medium spin for better midscreen oki, and old 236m mix.
What they gave him was definitely good, but he’s not playing the same game as everyone else. Bardock is stuck playing season 1. He’s got nothing tricky or exciting. Everything he can do, so many others can do it and better. I think it’s clear he’s still bottom 1

Cloud you’re hella underrating the trunks buffs and don’t understand half of them😂 C rated changes my ass bro lol that’s just ignorant and plain false.
They fixed ALL of his core issues. Meterless and easy 5s confirms now? Meterless midscreen skd from anywhere? Wallbounce/meterless conversions off of his ex and medium shining slash? He can confirm with 5h btw so it’s very easy.
Landing his level 3 from midscreen without having to waste extra bar? He got that too. You don’t need to do specific routes or micro dash either. With the changes to his flips and js he can now meterlessly get the side switch combos midscreen, which lets him land his level 3 from anywhere with 0 issue or difficulty/needing to micro dash.
It’s just another change you didn’t even realize or take the time to properly understand before saying it’s just ok smh. These fix his core issues of being super meter dependent, give him much easier confirms and way more damage/mix too.
His ex shining slash is super good for mix now too since he can meterlessly combo off of it now. Before he got nothing off of it, now he gets a full ass combo.
Also Easier flip mix? Him getting his airdash back after an ex flip makes it sooo much easier to mix with it/hit people with it. It also makes his neutral/movement even better when it was already really good. Now it’s top tier asf, so no clue why you don’t think that’s good.
Add all that to him having a level 4 and a level 5, on top of a full screen auto combo that’s got full invul, a 0 on block 2l, a really good 2m, a decent A assist, a really good B/C assist too and yeah, trunks is REALLY good now.
These are A plus changes not C rated changes, and literally all of his major issues are now fixed/way better. He’s easily S tier now.
Actually lab him and properly understand how good his changes actually are before saying they’re not that good and not what he needed because that’s ignorant/plain false bro.

He got everything he needed outside of a level 2 damage buff, and all his major problems have been fixed now. So yeah whether or not he’s a pro and can perfect me doesn’t change that. And YES trunks is S tier now. Not top tier but 100 percent S tier. Low s tier at minimum.

I always laugh when people say DBFZ is dead. Still getting game changing balance patches. Still getting tournaments with big turnouts, both online and offline. Still being played by over 1,000 players on average daily on PC alone. Consoles have a bigger playerbase.
