You didn't mention it but I've been seeing it a lot. Beerus in the new update also has a new tech where he can level 1 into whiff level 3 (since the limit break super change) and use the level 3 to teleport behind them and get a 4 way mix up off of it. There's some cursed clips where most people just do a neutral jump and a heavy which does an unexpected cross up
i did see this and actually decided to not include it, i may be proven wrong but i really just don't think there's a single mix in the game worth 4 bars to do (gt spirit bomb was different as that was a combo ender into a mix)

Considering how recent this patch is, I'm legitimately impressed how fast you pumped this video out while including those changes too. Props Bagel, for real.
It should also be mentioned, but the limit break universal buff means that Beerus can combo from his level 2 to his level 3, which is just kinda bonkers.

when i saw the patch notes drop when i woke up yesterday, i was terrified of how many beerus changes there was gonna be. i am lucky it was only a couple. yeah the level 2 to level 3 thing is important to beerus especially as his level 3 has really good scaling. getting the video out today (mandated for ad deal) made me simply not have time to add that
Just a suggestion I thought I'd share: A video on Bardock would be interesting, talking about how he reshaped the meta and how he got to where he is today.
The thing that makes it interesting for me is that when comparing the changes, beerus has the clothing of champa's, and with after, he has his own clothing.
Can't wait for the eventual video about the last patch, it's gonna be insane.
i probably won't make a patch overview, the reasoning is that i think making videos in this format adds to their rewatchability, where as patch overviews don't have the same kind of staying power. also i can drag it out more for CONTENT HEHEHEH

I used to have a minigame with a friend where whenever he picked Goku Black or Goku Green (Zamasu), I counter picked Beerus and had to kill his Goku B/G with his Level 3. If I did so, I won no matter what, but he couldn't throw and purposeful kill him off.
Before it was a joke cause how bad Beerus was, but now he's sweating bullets and I can't wait for our rematch

Edit: A couple people are asking me what I meant when I said "hold the kick button" what I meant is simply to hold the input whether it be the light, medium or EX version of Beerus' ball kick. Yeah, there is no kick button in DBFZ, I worded this goofily.

As someone who plays casually(usually against ai) and has no knowledge of fighting game mechanics, your videos are interesting and kinda easy to understand. Do you think you could cover Goku Black and Baby Vegeta at somepoint? Those are my mains and I'm curious how they scale on the competetive meta of this game, as well as what their functionality is.

i always like getting an excuse to talk about other games.
The production quality on this video is amazing, from the intro to putting in a character from another game, to even something as simple as having different colors for the pre and post patch versions.
I love the visual detail of giving old version Beerus a darker color scheme while new version Beerus has his actual, more vibrant one.
Mario Galaxy music is goated, it gives me chills to this day. Even 8 year old me heard this and went, “OH. This is good music! Mom I think I like songs with violins!” I proceeded to get smacked in the head she thought I said “songs with VIOLENCE.”

I'm not sure if someone else in the comments mentioned it, but I'm surprised that the video didn't cover his broken A assist, him being able to setup solo high/low 5050, and of course his explosive damage output on point and as a DHC since his lv3 now does only 100 less damage than Baseku SSB when scaled. Great video regardless.

Funny story, actually:
If Beerus is the last character, he can cancel level 1 into level 3.
This means that on YOUR oki, Beerus can wake-up DP, and if you block he can cancel DP into level 1 and then immediately cancel into level 3. If you block instead of reflecting, he has a 50/50. If you reflect, he's still plus. It's so degenerate.
Beerus decided to actually try and he became way stronger.
Now we need Yamcha to awaken 6% power and create a whole new SSSS Tier
How do you make the animations throughout your videos? (mainly the beginning part) I've always wanted to level up my editing and try that
i use premiere. dbfz's incredible camera mod is mainly what makes it possible. just taking poses from story mode and green screening them, editing lip flaps to match voice lines etc. bringing it all together takes a large amount of time and planning, there's not really a shortcut
