Cinderella College Light Opera Company, July 2022 Falmouth, Massachusetts Transforming dress designed and built by Thomas Gluodenis Featuring Kylee Brown as Marie
We were able to use a professional Cinderella dress for her transformation and her instructions were basically, turn until it all comes out XD. I wish you the best with that transformation.
I don't think these transforming dresses are the best strategy to begin with; the "before" never looks as well or serviceable as intended, and the effect isn't that impressive, either. Still, I can see going to the trouble for Ella's transformation. For Marie, I think it makes sense to keep it simple and just let her wear a big cloak that she discards at the right moment. One of the first rules of stage magic is to never do the same trick twice in one show.
Add in some flashing lights and some chimes and you’ve got the MOMENT. Shout out to stage production!
Some people's eyes hurt from flashing light

Amazing!!! But the silence with the shoe tappings is so funny
Its lovely. I wonder if they flared the under dress so it could freely fall over the coat, it wouldn't have to fight so much to go down
So cool!!
BEAUTIFUL!! ❤
