This is the most misunderstood comic book movie ever. This is a masterpiece a head of its time and have us the best Batman ever btw that monster at the end is Doomsday, a big Superman villain that killed him in the comics
Doomsday, yep. He appeared in the Death of Superman series back in 1989 or 1990. It was the first official comics I bought explicitly for investment purposes. I still remember and have my multiple unopened black bag and white bag copies as well.
@@Etereys that’s awesome bro. I don’t read comics much but I love action and comic movies. I loved Zach Synder dc movies and I thought killing Superman early wasn’t a big deal
Because no way Superman would lose to Batman first of all especially with him focused on saving his mother, and no way he would just let Batman go save his mom, he would’ve went to save his own mom to make sure she wouldn’t die with or without Batman’s help. Great movie still but it has its fair share of flaws.
@@NINJA_OUTLAW420don’t get me wrong I hate the cliche of Batman being able to win “because he’s Batman”. But I like that they had Superman on the rope or even the losing end of their fight because of Superman is TOO UNSTOPPABLE then he becomes boring (but yet Batman fans don’t seem to think the same for him). Whether it’s by surprise, a naturally more powerful enemy, or some other circumstance, it’s good for Superman to face difficulty occasionally.
@@Jpew2007 I agree it would be boring if Superman never faced any challenges, but my issue is that Batman beat him that’s just ridiculous, Superman is crazy powerful, the only reason he didn’t immediately kill Batman was because he’s smart and knew lex couldn’t be trusted and so he tried to talk to Batman but they made Batman dumb asf to where he refused to listen to word he had to say and just starts fighting him. My point is that what would have actually happened imo is Superman would have shut that bs down immediately and could kill Batman easily, but being the good guy he is he would spare him and tell him to stfu and listen while he explains the situation, then they could team up and go save Martha, then go whoop lexs azz n kill abomination together. And IF Batman actually proved to be enough of a threat in their fight, if Superman thought for a second he could actually lose, he would immediately kill Batman without hesitation like sorry I tried to spare you but you leave me no choice then go save his mom. He wouldn’t risk his mom dying by refusing to kill Batman, he’s a good guy but he’s not that stupid to just lose because he refuses to kill Batman. If he had to he would’ve killed Batman, there’s no fckn way he would let Batman kill him like that. Batman would have to think of some crazy lex level mastermind bs plan to even have a chance of killing Superman, Superman would’ve laser visioned tf out of any lil dumb kryptonite gas grenades before they could even reach him, he would’ve used his cray vision and super hearing to locate Batman, he would have DESTROYED him in that Batman Ironman suit like swinging a sledgehammer on a soda can lol. Batman is awesome but most people are just biased and/or really don’t even understand just how powerful Superman is.

Superman's death is exactly how King Arthur dies in the film "Excalibur" and "Excalibur" is the film on the posters outside the cinema in the first scene. "Next Wednesday: Excalibur". Bruce and his parents had just seen "Zorro". Zorro is a masked vigilante who mark the criminals with a Z. Everything in this film is detail.

@@NINJA_OUTLAW420 Well here is more stuff. This film references the comics "The Death of Superman". The story of King Arthur is called "Le Mort d'Arthur" "The Death of Arthur". There is nothing random in this film it's layered and layered.
@OUTLAW420 Kal El is King Arthur. Lois is Guinivere. Bruce is Lancelot, the (Dark) Knight. Lex is the sorceror Morgana Le Fay. Doomsday is Mordred, an evil child made of magic and blood. 1:09:03 Mark! During the 1990s "DC" needed to do something for that decade. (Each decade resets their universe.) So for the first time, they ended Superman's life with Doomsday! Knowing that they were starting over again anyway after 2000. So they gave us stories about a world adopting to life without a Superman, including contenders to take his place! So such questions about "why" should be addressed to the offenders of course. For example, there's a war in Ukraine because they are defending themselves! If they surrendered to the invaders, there wouldn't have been an extended war. Some people think that surrendering is the only honorable choice because no one dies! But of course, that depends on the motivations of the invaders. 😮 But anyway, another fun video! 😊 You're still funny! 😂😅

The scene with Bruce and Alfred talking about Superman going bad is actually way deeper than it is at first glance. Bruce is the only one that accounted for everyone in the Justice League going rogue and developed counter measures for it.

@@Meepie_Playz (to you) your opinion cant speak for everyone but Blue Beetle was pretty trash (to me)
Ben affleck is my favorite Bruce Wayne. A real great Bruce.
"Anonymous donor"
I heard "Anonymous stoner" and was giggling in the theater 😂😂😂
59:34 Mark! If I recall correctly, besides serving her mandatory duty in the The Army of the Defense for Israel", she was also "Miss Israel"! ❤
Best reaction to movies I have seen. Great job man
"Clark is a nerd.." well, actually, bro. Henry is probably the BIGGEST nerd we have LOL he almost missed the audition for Superman because he was busy in a dungeon playing World of Warcraft healing his Guild mates! LOL he talks about it in interviews. He does warhammer minatures, and all that sort of jazz..NERD for sure LOL love it!
Ngl I fell asleep halfway through this one the first time I watched it. Batman rescuing Martha in that warehouse was amazing. The way he used gadgets and his style of fighting was great. Also it was cool seeing some shots straight out of the comic
Wonder Woman is over 5000 years old and has been in mans world since 1917. She is immortal and a God.
Demi god but u right lol
if WB/DC didn't speedrun their cinematic universe the snyderverse could've been awesome
They really love to rush things these days man because it’s all about faster faster because money when things can always be better if we just take our time to perfect it before we just throw it together in such a rush and call it great when it could always be way better.
9:13 Mark! Oh, okay, you too decided to forego the theatrical version, hence the length! The extra scenes were restored for whatever they call this version. 😊
59:13 Mark! Hmm. I don't know about these movie versions as they were created decades after the official RPG! "Silver-Age Superman" and "Silver-Age Wonder Woman" I have their Strength ratings memorized! The game measures with "Attribute Points" or "APs" for short.
Strength is how much a character can lift on a bench press without sweating or stressing.
Superman is rated at 50 while she is rated at 45! He can bench press Planet Earth which weighs 50! She can bench press Mount Everest which weighs 45!
I love how I was thinking “she wearing the hell outta that dress” then u say it😂😂😂confirmed ❤
one of the best reactions i've seen in a while G.👍
Watching tnis movie again with your commentary was awesome. Keep up the good content.
4:05 Mark! Well, thanks to both the OKC bombing and 9/11, the VFX artists now know how to do it very realistically! In previous disaster genre movies, for example, the height of the "WTC" twin towers was thought to give them a certain advantage for durability!
In the comics for "Damage Control" a giant being with a sword sliced through them as if they were bamboo! But the team was able to brace them up imperfectly! Now we all know that those towers would tumble down! 😢
This is the most misunderstood comic book movie ever. This is a masterpiece a head of its time and have us the best Batman ever btw that monster at the end is Doomsday, a big Superman villain that killed him in the comics
🤣
Doomsday, yep. He appeared in the Death of Superman series back in 1989 or 1990. It was the first official comics I bought explicitly for investment purposes. I still remember and have my multiple unopened black bag and white bag copies as well.
@@Etereys that’s awesome bro. I don’t read comics much but I love action and comic movies. I loved Zach Synder dc movies and I thought killing Superman early wasn’t a big deal
According to Zack, that wasn't the real doomsday. The real one in his universe is still out there.
@@VERsingthegamez you are correct but I’m not sure if I like that
love your videos bro i’m constantly watching em thanks for all the laughs keep it up
I don’t know why so many people had a problem with “save Martha”. I think the moment “worked”.
Worked for me. I never even made the connection up until that moment.
Too bad this is one of the worst DC movies unfortunately
10 mins in and already loving this reaction! here for the first time, you hell OP bruh!
Bro, you was spit’n straight facts at the end… luv yr reactions, luv your thoughts on the current events. 🫡
When I first seen this in theaters and when I first saw The Trinity in live action on screen for the first time I teared up with excitement as a grown ass man considering I’ve been a huge DC fan all my life. My crush for Gal Gadot started here
The ultimate edition is the most underrated super hero movie
Bruce Wayne drives an Aston Martin DB Mark III to Lex's party. It's a model made before the one James Bond first drove in Goldfinger... the DB 5.
When Superman pulled himself closer getting stabbed through the chest more and more just so he could fully thrust that spear and kill that abomination b4 he died man that was ultimate badazz sh1t. Sacrificed himself to save everyone that’s why he’s the goat!!
@@papalaz4444244 that’s very cool I had no idea about that I love when movies/shows/games put so much little details into it for you to catch. Although now that I think about it idk if I like that specific detail because then that’s kind of a big hint to me for people who’ve seen Excalibur they can probably guess Superman might die exactly like he did wtf I don’t know if I like that decision that’s almost a spoiler basically ya kno?
@@NINJA_OUTLAW420 Well here is more stuff. This film references the comics "The Death of Superman". The story of King Arthur is called "Le Mort d'Arthur" "The Death of Arthur". There is nothing random in this film it's layered and layered.
@OUTLAW420 Kal El is King Arthur. Lois is Guinivere. Bruce is Lancelot, the (Dark) Knight. Lex is the sorceror Morgana Le Fay. Doomsday is Mordred, an evil child made of magic and blood. The spear is Excalibur, the magic weapon that can kill the demon child. If you watch Rebel Moon, I can tell you there are Arthurian characters in that too, if people can spot the connection :)
@@NINJA_OUTLAW420"When Arthur comes back from the dead, the Kingdom of Albion will return" Kal El has the Kryptonian Codex in his cells. He is the key to the return of Krypton. There was an actual detailed plan but they decided to MCU it and killed it dead.
Ben Affleck was a WAY better Batman than he was given credit for.
That's when the character known as "Steel" was created, by the way. He too has his own live-action movie! I like it! 😊 Others don't. 😮
I really loved your reaction. Dude was really enjoying this movie to the T
13:20 Mark! At this point, he's still "Alexander Luthor" though.
For those who don't know, "Lex" is short for Alexander,
Hi Mr V, great to see you. I watched your live it was good. Not seen this bring it on. Give hugs to Bella and love to you and your family.❤
Man I forgot how great a Riddler Eisenberg played
Wait his characters name was... Ah I see what you did there. No need to get up I'll show myself to the door.
Superman = Goodness and Hope....hope never dies...
👍hope you're doing the snyder cut for justice league
Every time superman uses a power Leo is like "man I wish I had that power" 😅😂
Yep Zacks Justice League next for sure to get the full story. Loving it all over again with ya.
Technically he has Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman in the rotation first.
@@TheViper4Life ohh good point
now, you definitely have to upload your reaction to the wonder woman film!
7:40 Mark! No more "James 'Jimmy' Olson" or "Olsen" for this universe! 😢
"Am I too soon? Aggghhh! I'm too soon!" 😅😂 very sad moment
1:12:15 Mark! 3.4K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍 You're welcome, and thanks! ☺️
Notes: Well, with warfare, you know, if you're the defender, you're defending yourself! 😮
But anyway, another fun video! 😊 You're still funny! 😂😅
“Still got placenta juice on em’” 😂😂 55:07
I remember when I was in the theater watching this movie and in the warehouse fight with Batman some guy in the row in front of me said, "A white man beating up a chinese man, that is something that you don't see everyday."
Dead @$$, that is what the guy said.
Now Zack Snyder's Justice League.
It is 4 hours long so if you gotta pee, you should. 🤣🤣🤣
I have the comics where they killed Superman back in the 90’s. Doomsday. They beat each other to death.
Same here. The death of Superman issue was individually wrapped with a bookmark, black armband, etc included with the comic book.
Nah, you nailed it at the end, supes bring everyone together not apart. he even turned batsy into a friend, if that aint super idk what is : P
The scene with Bruce and Alfred talking about Superman going bad is actually way deeper than it is at first glance. Bruce is the only one that accounted for everyone in the Justice League going rogue and developed counter measures for it.
Yeah, Bruce is absolutely JACKED in this movie. There is even a scene of Bruce getting even more swoll in a montage 😂
Masterpiece! Thats it.
To me, this is the best super heroe movie, the sacrifice of Superman, I loved him and the movie is just the best movie ever
Superman also slouches when he's in his Clark Kent persona. It makes him look a couple of inches shorter than Superman.
Mr. video is in love with Wonder Woman…. up and yes, I’ve Ben Affleck did go in the gym and get muscular, he didn’t put on weight he put on muscle
The darkest of the three you either hate or love it me I love it.
The car Bruce was driving was a Aston Martin DB 3.
Negan and Maggie as Thomas and Martha Wayne was a good touch
Bruce Wayne drove a 1957 Aston Martin to the event hosted by Lex Luthor.
“Get up bro”😂😂😂😂😂 had me dying like supes didn’t have a big ass hole in his chest
I love you man. The world needs to come together.
Batman & Superman both moms had the same name
All the Europeans died when you called that Aston a Chrysler 🤣
When you were in school did you watch The Outsiders? Martha Kent was in that movie as Cherry Valance. You should watch that sometime if you haven't. It has a star studded cast to go along with just her.
I went and saw this move like 5 times the first two weeks it was out just to watch that incredible opening again
It was the bending in the end for me 😂
This movie was very good and your reaction never disappoints.
Dude, as a hardcore fan of these movies, I am so glad you understood each and every scene that Snyder intedned that somehow most people didn't...something which vexes me a lot. Hope you watch Zack Snyder's Justice League soon.
Good spot Leo regarding Batman's weight. They had to reshoot a lot of this movie and Ben Affleck had put on weight in between when they were filming. So that's why is some scenes Bruce Wayne/Batman looks bulkier.
59:13 Mark! As you can see, these movie versions are much weaker than those counterparts! Ironically, Batman would basically be the same in both eras! 😊
You HAVE to watch the Snyder cut after this. It's long, I know, but that is the true ending to this story.... Leon, PLEASE...
It's not the ending to this story 😉@netflix #SellZSJLtoNetflix #SellSnyderversetoNetflix
I love this movie. Watching the old justice league cartoons and reading the comics Batman and Superman never got along. So I was excited when this movie came out
Is this the ultimate edition theirs a difference in the movies 👀👀
it is, steppenwolf is in the ultimate version. and he saw him here
