This album has so so many double entendre. Also, according to a few artists, they mentioned working with em on stuff but they aren't on this album, so maybe another album by end of year?
Totally agree with your interpretation of the outro & album. As he’s been perfecting his craft, his ability to pack so many different meanings into his bars has gone through the roof. The fans that really take the time to listen and think about the bars, almost get a personalized version of the songs meaning. Sure, sometimes it’s a reach, but you go back a year later and find out that there was a whole scheme you were super close to catching and it wasn’t really a reach after all. To me, that’s part of his genius, and I love how you guys pick up on it. edit: forgot a word
I know I’m late late, but on Darkness, when he says “I’m loathing in Las Vegas” it’s a reference to the great Hunter S Thompson’s book “Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas”, where Thompson goes to Vegas and documents his shenanigans, while in hotel rooms, completely inebriated on drugs...almost exactly what he’s describing minus the violence. Funny thing is he doesn’t mention the “fear”, just the loathing. Maybe this insinuates he has no fear anymore? EDIT: ALSO! The rest of the bar, where he talks about “I don’t have the vaguest” “I’d make you a small wager” making into tomorrow’s paper. That also could be a nod to Thompson. Thompson was a newspaper journalist, and his objective in Fear & Loathing was a true story about him going to Vegas, writing a story for the papers about a motorcycle race there, people were betting on. He ends up becoming so messed up on drugs, he literally admits to himself that he has no idea why he came to Vegas or why he’s still there. Thompson’s boss was also very skeptical of his ability to adequately make the story in time for the papers, which he ended ultimately not accomplishing. Apparently he was notorious for that. Anyways, maybe a stretch, but I can see Marshall being a Thompson fan.
"It ain't even worth dissing someone so offbeat That they can't even figure out where their words Should hit the kick and the snare" when Em raps the word kick, there's a snare placed in the beat and when he raps the word snare, there's a kick drum placed.. awesome detail! All this seems like a hit at Nick Cannon, since he's always kinda offbeat..
They been on genius.com for bar breakdowns. 😎 not saying it couldn't have been caught by them, but he basically said word for word of what is on that site.. And the breakdown was on there a couple days after the album dropped. They're still my favorite TH-cam reactors!
I think these are the type of listeners Em is still doing his music and lyrics for. It is pleasure for him to see how his bars are caught by smart people.
20:50 He also said "Feel like im loathing in Las Vegas" in regards to a movie called Loathing in Las Vegas where two guys keep doing all kinds of drugs during the whole movie.
Music To Be Murdered By is Album of the Year, so far. If Lil Wayne, Drake, J-Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Tech N9ne drop quality albums this year, Rap will have one of its best years.
Eiichiro Goda I personally disagree. But I prefer like rap rap over like wavy, viby hip hop. That’s probably why. Idk. Circles is very good, nearly perfect if I’m honest. I can see both sides for this argument. Would like to hear ur thoughts on this response
@@Loganva I agree to Mac Miller's Circles is a great album as well but it doesn't have the impact of Music To Be Murdered By, in my opinion. Revenge of The Dreamers 3 part 2 is great as well.

@@user-lb5vt4ll9c Eminem show is his best album in my opinion. The fact that em produced damn near the entire thing too. Im sure years down the line ill appreciate MTBMB more but rn its not even close to being his best. i respect your opinion though, i get it
@@sevnupking i hear ya my friend the fact that he produced eminem show definitely means something and the creativity on that one is off the charts. Art means different things at different times so it's natural we view his work differently. Here's to the next few albums!!👍🏻👍🏻
If you look at the cover of the album, it's "Music to be Murdered by .... Slim Shady" Apart from EMinem in the picture and the reversed E, there's no eminem reference ;)
I’m sure this was your MO, but when I’m driving I find myself listening to your commentary on Em as much as I listen to Em. It boggles the mind the amount of time he must spend writing new stuff while improving his rapid fire delivery. Parallel thought: Em is like Jordan in his 6th championship: everybody knew he was getting his 6th ring; everybody knew he was going to take the winning shot; everybody accepted the fact as long as he stayed in the game, he was controlling the game.
Great reaction - you teach me so much here's one reference I picked up - 20:50 - Loathing in Las Vegas- alludes to Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas book by Hunter S Thompson
This album just made it Eminem's 10th straight #1 album on the Billboards top 200 chart. Last 9 albums Kanye West dropped made it to #1 on the Billboards top 200 chart. If he drops another album and it becomes #1 on the Billboards top 200 chart he'd tie Eminem. Eminem proves over and over he's still got it despite haters saying "he's losing his mojo" and he's "too old to be in the rap game" and he "needs to retire". Age is a goddamn number, that's it. The haters never talk about the rappers that are much older still in the game like Ice T, Grandmaster Flash, E-40, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Master P, Chuck D, Kurtis Blow, just to name a few. Kurtis Blow was the 1st rapper to sign a contract with a major record label company. The haters may not have even heard of most of these rappers though. They're into that shit they call mumble rap and auto tune. Haters are motivators in my opinion.
25:10 a bar that only detroit people might catch “spitting on these fabulous tracks my man Dilla sent” Referring to J Dilla’s beats... ... ... bars Really enjoy watching you guys, in my opinion you guys do the most intelligent break downs. Keep killing it!
You two deserve more exposure. You catch most if not all the bars and actually explain the bars unlike the other reactors that depend on overreactions, jumping around, and over pausing with no reason.
You know what I think it is with Eminem fans? Some fans have minds that go 100 miles an hour (like me) so I catch almost every word when he's spittin like on Godzilla etc. so I LOVE IT! Whereas other people's minds just don't move that fast hence why they like slower type rap. That said, when he paints a picture like in Darkness...I like that he slows it down so it truly ressonates with everyone. That's why I appreciated Em for giving us a side A and side B, something for everyone. 🙏🏽❤️ Great reactions guys 💯🔥

Anyways, maybe a stretch, but I can see Marshall being a Thompson fan.
Modern day Shakspeere man
At 16:40 when he says " I keep it a 100 dear" he saying he keeps it a buck which is also a male deer.💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Quintrelle Evans and also referencing The Game’s song “100”
👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
A Buck is also refer to as 100 dollars.
He also says "game" which is a hunted deer
And the animated movie open season
"It ain't even worth dissing someone so offbeat
That they can't even figure out where their words
Should hit the kick and the snare" when Em raps the word kick, there's a snare placed in the beat and when he raps the word snare, there's a kick drum placed.. awesome detail! All this seems like a hit at Nick Cannon, since he's always kinda offbeat..
Shot at Tee Grizzley
@@aleccope1320 I think more like Nick because he really is offbeat the whole time :D
conaBOT its actually a shot at tee grizzle tho
@@conabot Too grizzley to bare
T Grizzley cant ride a beat to save his life
2 + 2 = 4
It also reference how he was only a good actor and super famous from the movie Drumline since he play the snare drums in the movie too lmao
Just like I did with Kamikaze, I hit your channel for a break down of Murder the day it was released cuz I knew you’d be all over it. Lol!🤍
13:00 How the hell do you catch something like that... VibeVilla by far the best on YT at dissecting bars.
They been on genius.com for bar breakdowns. 😎 not saying it couldn't have been caught by them, but he basically said word for word of what is on that site.. And the breakdown was on there a couple days after the album dropped. They're still my favorite TH-cam reactors!
@@R0P3JDP fr?? I did not know that brotha... that's kinda sick!
I’ve been waiting for this reaction so I can get the puns I missed 😅
Deray *”He really said that shit”*
Prince *”It’s Eminem bro”*
So accurate😂
Yoo! U guys the only who catch that diss to tee grizzly at the end !
I saw you in other places
was that not just a Nick Cannon diss? since he's been dissing Em and in his first one he was totally off beat?
Not a tee grizzly diss.
@@green-sr3xn i will be in every eminem's reaction.
@@mattkinsman272 it is because he in a previous line he says, "I'm too grizzly to bear"
What if Nate Dogg was in chorus at "You Gon' Learn" ? (R.I.P)
Nooooo
This is the best reaction on the Tube.
You're catching everything
not everything
I was the
G the O-A-T
O nce I was played in rotation
A t every radio station
T hey said I'm lyrically amazing
Imminent Momentous but you would have to look at the lyrics to find that out, they are just listening to it
actually got it the first time just like crypt did
I think these are the type of listeners Em is still doing his music and lyrics for. It is pleasure for him to see how his bars are caught by smart people.
I've been visiting your channel since the album dropped. Atlast, it's here.
You guys are so Underrated man.
9:38 Yeah, that's an alliteration. An anaphora would be something like MLK's I have a dream speech, Kendrick's FEEL. or even Eminem's If I had.
One of the three people I’ve been waiting for a reaction to this album. These guys break down bars. I love you guys
20:50 He also said "Feel like im loathing in Las Vegas" in regards to a movie called Loathing in Las Vegas where two guys keep doing all kinds of drugs during the whole movie.
Also mentioned Dayton when he's talking about Ohio cities
Only Em has enough clout and confidence to release not 1 but 2 albums without any promotion. Mad respect.
Lol Em knows social media will promote it for him and it will sell with out . Hes one of select artists that his name sells and his reputation.
Music To Be Murdered By is Album of the Year, so far. If Lil Wayne, Drake, J-Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean, Tech N9ne drop quality albums this year, Rap will have one of its best years.
Rikochet States I agree, but revenge of the dreamers extended and circles are also really good
Circles is way better than this lol
Eiichiro Goda I personally disagree. But I prefer like rap rap over like wavy, viby hip hop. That’s probably why. Idk. Circles is very good, nearly perfect if I’m honest. I can see both sides for this argument. Would like to hear ur thoughts on this response
@@Loganva I agree to Mac Miller's Circles is a great album as well but it doesn't have the impact of Music To Be Murdered By, in my opinion. Revenge of The Dreamers 3 part 2 is great as well.
Rikochet States well yes of course an Eminem album is going to have a ton of
Impact, he’s one of the biggest artists on earth. And yes it is. Good hip hop is coming back
Your facial expressions are brilliant to watch.......also love your knowlegde of breaking down each track...
It's so look nice to see people that appreciate em's lyrics as much as myself , there's so many people out there that hear em that just don't get it .....thanks boys 👏👊👍👌
MTBMB is the best album from the greatest rapper of all time. Im sorry, this is absolute BARS all the way through with great hooks, production, concepts, and features. Cannot be touched.
You think this is ems best album?
@@sevnupking im a HUGE fan of MMLP i always said it would be his masterpiece but MTBMB is just another level. What do you think?
@@user-lb5vt4ll9c Eminem show is his best album in my opinion. The fact that em produced damn near the entire thing too. Im sure years down the line ill appreciate MTBMB more but rn its not even close to being his best. i respect your opinion though, i get it
@@sevnupking i hear ya my friend the fact that he produced eminem show definitely means something and the creativity on that one is off the charts. Art means different things at different times so it's natural we view his work differently. Here's to the next few albums!!👍🏻👍🏻
Agree, this album is so underrated.
I've been waiting for y'all!!! this album is straight 🔥🔥
Laskaツ facts
"Loathing in Las Vegas" was a play on the movie "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas"

Everyone thinks this is Eminem Retirement Album even though he said he has no plans to retire, I’m still the man you admire
I've been waiting for thissssssss
I just appreciate you guys catch dam near every bar than every other reaction channels
If you look at the cover of the album, it's "Music to be Murdered by .... Slim Shady"
Apart from EMinem in the picture and the reversed E, there's no eminem reference ;)
Possible slim shady LP 2 soon? Maybe a stretch xD
You can also look at the album title as M to be M by Slim Shady
I really just need y’all to do the Griselda project

I don’t know how to feel about Griselda cause Gris means pig in my language
Yesssss

I was waiting for this notification like crazy 🔥🔥🔥 letsgoooo
This album and Kamikaze are going to become classics 100%
Kamikaze definitely won't. IMO the album is a 6/10. ONE of Eminems worst projects is Kamikaze
From an Eminem STAN
@@CalisthenicsBro Nah at least an 8
Kamikaze was great rap but didnt age well cause its not a concept album, its just a reply
Sending an hello from Portugal. Shout out to this Eminem album. Brilliant.
You two deserve more exposure. You catch most if not all the bars and actually explain the bars unlike the other reactors that depend on overreactions, jumping around, and over pausing with no reason.
Finallyyy. The reaction video I'm waitingggg
45 mins of a great reaction
bro the boys are so good at analyzing all the lyrics and finding all the meanings and stuff
*insane*
The whole album 🔥
I’ve watched this video multiple times you guys are unmatched on catching bars
I liked before video even loaded bro.
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY
LOVE YOU BOTH ❤️
Thx for every breakdown, got every album but it takes years for me as a guy from germany to understand tripple meanings. The bars sometimes seem so simple if u
dont know slang and s**t.
Im f**king blow'n away.
Liked+subscribed and recommended.
Finally! Where have y’all been?!!
"Shit, woah, hold up, wait,
I just tripped over my cape."
Forget wasting the beat, Eminem doesn't even waste BARS to tell a joke. So smooth
you should watch the video for Darkness too, the production is good
This video does put a smile on my face. I'm back before 100k.
Brooo I was so ready for the darkness reaction, lost footage😭😭, will it be on Patreon?
Yall should react to the video

32:17 “Evil intent” (“evil in tint”) is because he is one half of Bad Meets Evil. So he is behind the tints.
Great catch on the style being in young M.A.s style...all the features on MTBMB are done on the featuring artists style and Eminem is just showing his mastery of hip hop
Little Engine is actually maybe my favorite vibe on the album lol...I just like the energy. It isn't the best song, just the most fun for me personally.
I was the

They said I'm lyrically amazing
He spelt Goat vertically too.
This is from Premonition. First song in the album.
So many people were sleeping on Marsh and Little Engine until they heard it. I really feel like this could’ve been named the Slim Shady LP2 fr. 💯
You guys are my favorite when it comes to reacting to Eminem. You guys are true fans of lyricists and I love it!! Last year when you guys reacted too kill shot I deff enjoyed that video.
