ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

To me personally, I love this figure, this is what marvel legends should be, with extra heads, and accessories. Colors pop on The shelf. Top 10 definitely

The arms aren't reuse from the dormamu, they are reuse from Kang the conquerer i think.

Yeah. Dormamu had double elbows. They may have used the same digital sculpt from Kang when making Dormamu, but it is not the same tooling.
EIDT: If you look closely, it’s the same upper arm. But if you look even CLOSER it’s a different sculpt . . . like you said. Lol But yeah, Kang’s arm, not Dormammu’s. ✌🏽

@@MisterBluewind I thought the same thing, but when you get closer to the elbow, the sculpt does seem a bit different.
The one thing that I dont like about this new figure is the Cape being attached to the mold (glued respectively) in which restricts some of his articulation when posing him whatever we want my guy.

I'm okay with them attaching the cape because it means the cape won't be always shifting around every time I try to do something with him or just fall off.

Man. That torso coming apart is a big QC issue. I haven't purchased one yet, I will let you know if I have that same problem, though.

If it wasn't such a pain to get this guy, I would have waited for him instead of picking up an MCU Strange.
He doesn't have the Dormammu arms, does he? Dormammu's arms are double-jointed, but Strange has single-jointed elbows. I think Strange has the Kang arms, and Kang also is single-jointed with no bicep swivel.

The best doctor strange figure ever!!! At least in my opinion
To me, this is the best Doctor Strange figure out there, especially for the price. My figure has as of yet to separate on me as yours did, I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but for now he is on a transparent base with his legs folded Indian style, and his spell casting hands using the effects that come with him( as well as many other marvel legends) and I popped on the head with the eyes closed. This is truly a magnificent action figure, and just like you Shartimusprime - I love mine too.
Doctor Strange is AWESOME. I have him as well. I had to buy two. One for show, one in tow. Holy cow!! I saw that he came apart on you......I almost lost my mind. But SUD said it best, "I LOVE IT.....TWO PLEASE!!!"

If you’re barely watching this video, they’re in stock rn at Walmart website. Get yours before scalpers do, everyone’s been waiting on this figure.
A decent sculpt in desperate need of a repaint. The cloak looks like ketchup and mustard, and the tunic is way too dark, with the demon logo undifferentiated. I swapped the cloak from the older Strange figure, with the gold trim, and repainted the tunic to be comic accurate, and it looks 10x better than it did straight out of the box.

Love this figure. I swapped my legs for the Spider-shot legs and I am MUCH happier. The original legs were too gummy.

I don't have this figure, But I will because this Doctor Strange is the best, He has the bright awesome colors along with the first head sculpt that looks great and the others head sculpts look great too, But I'm glad Shartimus is excited because Doctor Strange and Dormammu will be awesome fighting each other using their powers.

I don’t think it’s a dormammu hand sculpt, because the dormammu (or red skull) have double jointed elbows, but this dr strange have single jointed elbow, correct me if I am wrong.

hey shartimus. he just came out here in australia last week and i got him today. goes great with a.i. tony stark classic iron man.
I love mine. I haven't had the torso come apart on mine but I did notice the new upper thighs and pelvis price, super odd to do on a figure that hides that area but I hope they keep using it on that sunfire buck because I really like the new sculpts on those parts.
Just got mine on Friday, been loving it so far. While I don't mind the cape being attached I wish it was attached firmer as it only seems to be attached at the Eye of Agamotto which makes me concerned about that spot ripping. While mine doesn't come apart at the waist my neck hinge is EXTREMELY tight to the point it's basically unusable as trying to use it feels like I'm going to rip the whole neck piece out of the body.
We DO NEED a comic book ...Baron Mordo ... a Clea... and a Wong...!!

So I just got my Doctor Strange and while he doesn't have exploding waist action like yours does, the left glove came off when I removed him from the package. Looks like they didn't glue 2/3rds of the peg into the opening so I had to do the job their employees were too lazy to do. It's bad enough he's like $28 before shipping, but then I had to assemble him as well? This laziness on Hasbro's employees is getting tiresome.
That aside, I do think he looks great in any pose I put him in, I just can't do much with him right now as I'm waiting for the glue I put in his arm to dry.
do you ever get a backlog of figures that you need to review? I've started doing Star wars Black series and some of the NECA figures, and it's pretty difficult to do them all at once.

Waist thing doesn't happen on mine. The paint on the cape for yours is really rough.
I have the figure and I love it. Mine doesn’t have the waist issue at all. Worst thing mine has is a glob of paint on the yellow trim of cape, but it looks sort of like the design.
I am VERY thankful I got the figure.
With the blue head, I never got Vance Astro, so I am unsure when he came out. I know it as the Silver Surfer head. Looking online, it appears Vance came out in 2016, and I think Surfer came out in 2018 so if IS the Vance Astro head.
Either way, he’s a solid 10 to me.
Swapping the head from the black suit strange onto this one works so much better , just have to drill out the head a little . I don't really like the headsculpts this one came with
