This album came out a year before Sunny Day Real Estate's Diary. That's actually really, really crazy to think about.
I always say 1993 is the real peak year for emo before all the alt and indie rock took over thanks to MTV etc. You've got this album, Still Life - From Angry Heads With Skyward Eyes, Gauge - Soothe, Friction - Blurred in Six, Navio Forge - As We Quietly Burn a Hole Into..., First releases from KCMO Boys Life and Vitreous Humor, Sideshow - Eggplants and Sunspots, Current - Coliseum, Kerosene 454 - Two For Flinching, Boilermaker - Drained Nonsense, Junction - Swingset, Native Nod - Bread, Merel - Merel LP, Policy of 3 - Dead Dog Summer, Julia - demo + 7", Falling Forward - Let This Day Pass, Lifetime - Background, None Left Standing - Regenerate, Compound Red - Mr. Microcosm, Bubble Jug demo, Indian Summer 7", Sinker 7", Chino Horde LP, Assfactor 4 - Sometimes I Suck, Rights Reserved - Galleons Lap .... I could honestly keep going all day. That last one reminds me that before Sunny Day Real Estate, Nate Mendel (now in Foo Fighters) was in several hardcore bands, including early 90s emo Galleons Lap, LP in '91. Also before Jeremy Enigk joined they were called "Empty Set" and recorded stuff early 93 you can look it up on here.

love the lyrics but the vocals just isn't complimenting the beauty
15 and 16 year old kids when this was put out
It's not recorded well. Their later releases are better recorded so you can really hear his voice.
