You do lovely work Ali. I love how your marks flow with the bowl. I'm a big fan of the coastal vibe, and I really appreciated seeing your sketch book as well! I've been staring at mine for a week waiting for some inspiration! I do believe I will open it today and begin to make some marks in it! Thank you for the inspiration ❤️
me too! rather than spraying water on a new bag of clat, I prefer mixing it with some reclaimed clay. after watching this I want to try throwing a large piece as well!
Great video Ali, thank you for sharing your knowledge. All very practical and down to earth. Being new to the wheel have thought about using shapers to work the clay. Seems like common sense and a great way to practice to get a better feel. Love your simple techniques to end up with wonderful pots...
Ali ‘thank you’ for sharing your skills and process. I am memorized. I think you must have the most beautiful bathroom in the world😊. May I ask: Is the oxide mix a ‘wash’ or colored (porcelain) slip? Also, is the scraping off of the oxide (using the kidney) done at Leather hard stage or not quite bone dry?

Beautiful video. I'm seriously impressed by the way she centres and throws such a large amount of porcelain. Love her work!
Thank you!
