AIR CANADA Economy Class LAX to Paris, squashed in a plane on their high capacity economy routes.

I took the plunge and flew economy-class transatlantic from Los Angeles to Paris via Montreal. Both flights were relatively short, one 5 hours and the other 6 hours, with a 3-hour layover in the middle to stretch the legs. The fare was cheap, but was it worth it?? Squatting up in the 777 with 445 passengers is no fun; look at the legroom!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes it was a tight fit, but a cheap fare BUT... my knee was in so much pain for about 3 weeks after, it ruined my vacation as I was going to walking cities on the trip :(

A330-300 looks like one of the Singapore Airlines hand-me-downs. SQ had 14 more Y seats but half the premium seating, for which your knees paid the price.

Thanks for the short report. You hit all the proper details in my opinion. Air Canada always comes up with the lowest fare when I search from my home city in the USA to Europe via Toronto.

Air canada is a great airline. How was your flight frombone to ten. Did you have to pay to check in a bag

OMG why would you expect more legroom in economy class? Do American carriers have more? I doubt that as near every review I have ever seen on US carriers show it’s the same. Also the most important factors where u arrived on time didn’t miss you connection in Montreal and are alive to tell the story. I may be a little harsh on your review but seems to me your poor comments far outweighed any positive you had to say/

My review is based on my experience, which was not positive I am sorry you did not like it but yes, there are economy products out there with much better leg room than Air Canada.

All economy long haul flights are miserably cramped. It's really inhumane.
