MANGA SPOILERS DO NOT CLICK READ MORE IF YOU DONT WANT A SPOILER!!!!!!! Although its not really that important or plot related. Hearing him call Lu the "heroin" of this series gave me a good chuckle, considering that if season one ends where i think it will, the first season is pretty much all we will see of her for the rest of the show before she fades into complete irelevancy.
Im expecting things to go much like in the Yakuza franchise, you can go after the man himself, that's fine, you will just get heavily beaten, but when you go after his family, then you run into some actual problems.
i really like the two firs episodes, only worry i have is that they skip two chapter to jump into the introduction of Lu Shaotang, and i uderstand the probably have few episodes and some stuff have tu be cut i hope the dont do that a lot just to skip to the more plote heavy chapters. the two chapter im talking about develop a little more Sakamoto´s wife and introduce some fun character, so i hope at the very least they rework them into other episodes. in general i love the adaptation i just hope they dont cut to much for plot sake, at the end of the day this story is very slice of life with a little of shonen action, so i hope they dont center only in the action part.
i love the manga so i am glad the anime so far has been really good, plus mr Sakamoto is just that guy he caught bullets with chopsticks stopped a bullet with a throat lozenge fought off a swordsman with a soup ladle then hit him with a refrigerator..ahh peak
I ain’t even gonna lie episode 1 was good. But episode 2 was amazing fr. I loved the whole ep felt so wholesome I can’t wait to see this show air more I read the manga and it’s heat
Lu is nice character. But too bad, she will get very little screen rime. Only early arc we often qill see her. Just like like in the manga, she is not a popular character in terms of readers rating.
The animation isn't bad, it's avarage and in a manga only about assassins fighting that makes it subpar if not even worse down the line. The fight scenes aren't fluid enough, in a world where every thing is about precsicion, finesse and speed. This may be a personal choise but the slow motion effects are harming the portration of speed like in the new Flash movie. I feel like the was they show how fast characters are is flawed in general. I see that this is a hard anime to animate as a lot of motion in between panels has to be filled in and like I said they arent doing such a bad job but the fights will only get intenser and faster. Especially when the high tier assassins start coming in this approach to fight scenes will undermine the fights heavily. I would also agrue that this would be a good sakuga anime where they could focus less on the background and maybe therefore invest more into the movement of characters but yeah.

Sakamoto is only 27 years old. He just got fat. And grow a mustache. Sakamoto is still in his prime. And Shin is 21 years old.

Actually Sakamoto’s wife Aoi was voiced by Rosie Okamura! Alexa Bliss voices Obiguro a character that who will show up in one of the later episode!

This show is looking really wholesome. Looking forward to watching it. Also i wanna hear about the irl horror story 😮
the manga is much better and the animation is nothing to write home about
Meh it's just not for me
You and me bruh I felt it was weak compared the dandadan I mean the main character barely said four words and it was rather predictable
