Its pretty dope getting to see a fat character be a normal dude. Not only that, his weight gain came from a positive change in his life. Sometimes people get fat, and it doesn't have to be positive or negative. Its just a thing that happens sometimes. I also adore how Shin is used in this episode. His telepathy has always existed as a tool to kill others. But when taken out of that context he discovered that it can be used to help make peoples lives easier. I feel like this show is gonna carry on with that theme. Hitmen learning to use their tools and strengths to help people instead of kill them and I really love that.
Not only his assassin's skills never left him, he's been upgraded to have the Dad Bod. He can beat the shit out of anyone with his skills but has a no kill policy now due to the one challenge he can't defeat. The Wrath of his Loving Wife.
By the way, the manga itself was already ranked as the second-best manga in Weekly Shounen Jump twice in a row (2023-2024), only losing to One Piece, which always holds the top spot. In the 2024 edition, Blue Box was ranked third, while in 2023, it was Jujutsu Kaisen.
