Thank you for another great reaction to Geoff. Please break Geoff out of Folsom Prison he is singing the Blues. That is actually him playing the harmonica. He learned how to play it while doing shows in Disney.

As much as I love Geoff’s bassy goodness, it’s the tenor and baritone that do it for me in this one. It was such a treat to hear him sing for a fairly long time in such a high a range. You hear it often in the BGV’s’s, but this is the first time I remember hearing him sing for a sustained time as a tenor.
Thorin has the deepest voice and he has the darkest lyrics. Several times when he looks over at his “brothers” his look is so melancholy. It’s as if he knows they’re going into battle and will be fighting for their lives and he’s already in mourning. 🥺

This song, written and performed by Ed Sheeran, was not heard during the film The Desolution of Smaug, but played over the credits. Geoff named his other selves in Way Down, to reference the various ways that people mispronounce his name, ( Je-off, Goff, and so on) and when he needed one more for Ghost Riders he added Daryl, Just because he like the sound of it. :) He truly bringsout tha pathos of this song. It's a special talent he has.

This is his second time getting the Dwarfs together from the Hobbit movies. His cover of "Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold" was from the first movie. This song is from the second movie.

I love this sooo much. Geoff's cover is so sad and melancholy. I cry every time I watch this. Geoff always impresses me with his arrangements. Eli did an amazing job with the lighting. Mortius put it perfectly...This is I see fire, not I breathe fire !! lol Great Reaction as always!!

Glad to hear you're feeling better.😊
This song wrings my heart. I never got to see the second or third movies from The Hobbit but i know the story. I almost feel like he is showing us a precious piece of his soul when he sings in his higher range.❤

I think this one is Geoff's best. The Hobbit - Desolation of Smaug (nasty dragon) has gotten great reviews and after a week, Geoff's gotten 530k views. Glad you've recovered from covid, I had it 4 months after it landed in the US and this year had it again. Not much on symptoms, a 2 day headache, sore throat and runny nose. Then just had to test til I was clear before I left home again. Friday VoicePlay did In The Air Tonight and you need to see/hear this - stunning.

So happy to hear you’re better!
And awesome reaction as well. I can easily see how much you got into the song! Geoff did a marvelous job. This was just gorgeous and you really do feel the emotions of the dwarves prepping themselves up to battle the dragon and its fire.

You were looking for "7 Nation Army"
However this one did blow me away like Valhalla did, the sorrow in this was palpable.

Yes!!!! That was it thank you 😊. I think it did in a way but more emotional and connecting with Geoff

The song is from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the 2nd move in the recent Hobbit trilogy of movies. Geoff's Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold was from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first movie in the trilogy. So I'm fully expecting that in a year or so, Geoff will come up with something from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the third movie.
But this is (IMO) the best thing Geoff has done on his solo channel so far. It's definitely 🔥!

    Awesome reaction as always Kareem.
Thank you for mentioning my name several times. I very much appreciate it. Anything to help you out and keep you in the loop.
This is my favorite song and video of his.
This was in the end credits of Hobbit 2 Desolation of Smaug.
Voiceplay released their new video yesterday/Friday.... In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins.
I know how you feel. My daughter and I had covid a couple years ago. Fortunately it wasn't real bad but bad enough. Lasted 5 weeks.
    Glad you're better.
