Steelhead Fishing Michigan at the Huron River

Steelhead fishing on the Huron River in Lower Michigan in down town Flat Rock Michigan I was hooking into Steelhead Large Rainbow Trout but i Was not Landing them So i Finally was able to see it happen hot dam and it was a 10 pound Chrome Steelhead caught on a small egg pattern and I was using a Ugly Bug so I change to a pink egg Pattern and it happen on the Great Huron River and it was on on the hook baby making it happen Big Tim Stile in early March the Large Chrome colored Steelhead are in the Rivers most of them are Large Chrome Hems and the buck will have more Rainbow color the fish will not jump as much until the water warm up past 40 degrees so they like to do the long runs and a couple of fish out of water not high jumps so they will put the hurt on the fishing rods you are using your arms will get tired of the Steelhead you Hook on to and weather is Cold so you wait for the sun to come out and then fish on Fly patter is on know you have to land the large Fish and not Brake off good luck and May you Hook up and Catch your own Steelhead in the Huron River down at Flat Rock it will be good on High water

CAME DOWN FROM JACKSON ON 4/4 FOR A DAY TRIP , WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THE SAPLING TREES ALL GROWN UP, I LOST 5 FISH CUZ YOU CAN'T EVEN FIGHT A FISH.. THE TOWNSHIP HAS BEEN SLACKING THE LAST 20 YEARS. USED TO BE ALL CLEAN TO FIGHT FISH. THIS IS SAD. BUT WE'LL BE BACK AGAIN , & FOR WALLEYE RUN !! GET ON THEM WORKERS TO CUT THAT BRUSH !! "MICHIGAN GOOSEMAN"!
