The point of Yanfei is that she applies A LOT of Pyro, so I really like to play her with Furina in a Burning core (Nahida and Baizhu) since she and Nahida can keep the burning aura all the time to Furina to vape; also, if you have a bit of EM on her, Furina will generate some bloom cores with the underlying Dendro aura for Yanfei to Burgeon and hit hard

Yanfei/XQ/Yelan will always be my answer to Abyss floor 9-11. She is invulnerable while she autotargets and 2-hits most enemies. Only Neuvillette has the AoE range to keep up.
Reasons why TankFei is perfect with Hutao: -Can apply Pyro for a swirl anytime she wants (+Pyro ressonance). -Protects Hutao without healing her health back up more than necessary. -Doesnt steal hydro aura like thoma, zhong, or layla do.
I've been trying out teams for Yanfei lately. One I've settled into is Xinqiou, Furina, and Yao-Yao for healing (I also tried Jean, but the dendro application is pretty useful in many cases). I'll definitely have to try Marechausee Hunter on her though, at the moment I have Wanderer's Troupe that I stole off of Tighnari.
Yan Fei, and Leyla are 2 characters I will always suggest people build when focusing on 4 stars Yan Fei can sub as a 5 star DPS and Leyla had a MASSIVE shield
From 65 pulls i got three 4 razors, 2 yanfei, 2 weapons, one non promotional four star, a mona and an emilie... Bye the way i pulled for xiangling (count=0)🙂

Since she's my second event banner character ( next to Chongyi) I've been a Yanfei main and i love her so much My two main teams with her are overload with Chevreus, Yae, Fischl and overvape with Xingqiu, Fischl, Bennett/c2 Jean And compared to my baby Chongyi, she remains strong enough to have a chance to struggle through abyss (floor 12 is never a cakewalk lol)
Chevreuse team where? My "mono"-pyro hyper Yanfei Chevreuse teams have never struggled to clear abyss. Her range is huge so Bennet's circle impact + Overload knockback isn't a problem, and combined with her blunt attacks, large enemies get perma-staggered. Definitely worth trying if you haven't yet. I run Chevy Benny Yanny and a full EM Dragonsbane Raiden since her off-field uptime last for your whole buff setup and Yanfei's burst duration, and with Yanfei's application rate, Raiden always triggers the Overloads. It's unga bunga big bomb boom. No VV + Vape setup or timing required.
Actually Emilie is a good match with her , the part is what the other 2 character in the team , a full burning team with 2 Dendroo and 2 Hydro is amazingly fun to play , a four element team especially if you tag on top of Emilie and Yanfei a Hydro and a Electro to get multiple reactions on is interesting to say the least Overload team also can be fun but I've found it harder to play consistent
great video but the part where you didn't melt is because the cryo aura is gone after it react with xq 1u hydro sword orbital. so when you charge attack you charge attack on the enemy that have no element, only have the freeze aura. so that's why you triggered shatter instead of vape or melt. it s the same way like how you cant swirl the spread aura after a charge attack by fischl then one charge attack by collei. if you try to swirl you cant swiril there's no element to swirl only the spread aura. when you trigger freeze it takes the 1 u of the hydro and cryo creating a freeze aura, so no element on enemy. that's why you need more cryo or hydro to do vape/melt.
Cryo aura is indeed gone because of low application but Freeze acts as a Cryo aura in its place. If I do the same setup and use a Normal Attack instead of a Blunt Attack I do trigger Melt. The point there was to show that Shatter has priority over Melt and you indeed need more element applications to trigger Melt or Vaporize.

Really good video overall again, but I have to say that Tankfei with TTDS is cope because you'll never have enough energy to burst every rotation unless you're playing with batteries for her (but even then it's harsh). The most usual choice because of that is Prototype Amber, maybe Fav Codex.
Personally, yanfei plunge is too hard to do that it's not good in practical application, it also deals less dmg and besides there could be more easier combo that offers better result. Even with xianyun, her usual team or with furina kazuha bennett does better. Althou i think yanfei plunge is cool, i might actually do it and share it to my friends just flex XD
Yeah, apparently it's either thoma or yanfei for shield where yanfei can blunt attack or thoma for pure shield. It fits with burning team that requires weak hydro or frozen quickswap team.
@@SevenPls i cant w8 for that! the thing i have problem with Kaveh is that i wana use him in Nilu team but this will lead into applying Dendiro to Hydro which is not as good(and i dont have Nahida) so im not sure how to use it perfectly there (my current Nilu team is 1.Nilu 2.xingqiu(or Candace) 3.Kaveh 4.Dr Baizhu

i think if you don't have a good 5 star, you can't go wrong with widsith. when the buff's active it actually even outdamages the 5 star options. but it's only active every other rotation so on average is a bit weaker.

other than noelle, i think yanfei is the only 4 star character i would main and never feel at a disadvantage to maining a 5 star

Yanfei was the character that carried me through the early game, she's insanely good and so fun to replay

Got her C6, all talents crowned, full Shimenawa set, and with Sacrifical Fragments and she does some pretty numbers.
Try without Shime and a Crit weapon! It might do even more :) Shime is nice for overworld probably but I wouldn't sacrifice the Burst that much

Ttds sucks when players wrong quick swap characters to buff Atk one characters instead whole characters before furina burst
