First video I see of John where he actually explain how he places his fingers on the bridge + pick holding + pick angle. That is the most instructing thing I've learned from him in 30s.
anyone else notice how ADHD JP is when he starts playing? lol it's like he forgets he's supposed to be teaching guitar xD reminds me of myself honestly.
His technique and tone has gotten a lot worse over the years... He was at his best in the second half of the nineties and around the scenes from a memory tour... But still I would kill for this guitar...
You must have been to a different live show for The Astonishing and Dream Theater tours than I was. Certainly nothing suffering as far as I could see and hear!
