  • Charlie Adelson is accused of orchestrating the kill on Dan Markel. His former brother-in-law was in a bitter custody battle with Charlie's sister, Wendi Adelson. She testified she had no involvement but she did say she drove past the crime scene before being notified of her ex-husband's death.
#CourtTV went to the crime scene to investigate why Wendi Adelson drove through Dan Markel's murder.

@@acc4465 I, 100% agree with you! It's completely outrageous the comments, the reporting, and the commendation going on hear.
I have lost so much respect for Court TV. It's like they have an agenda or something. I dare not go to Antisemitism, but for the life of me I cannot figure out Court TV's motivation on this trial. I am watching Live Stream and my mom is watching on Court TV. Even she is questioning their coverage. Trust me on this, my mom loves Court TV. But she called this morning and asked, "What are they talking about, "The ADA tripped up Charlie?" I told her, I had no idea. The ADA was even admonished by the Judge for asking questions and not allowing Charlie to answer. The ADA is flustered and doing such a bad job, I think her job will be on the line once this is over.
I am NOT saying Charlie is innocent, I am saying the State has CAUSED responsible doubt just with the evidence they think is "So Damn" ...... deleting events off your calendar after? I do that too! Hiding or keeping a Surprise birthday party a secret? Really? That's evidence? Is Best Buy/the Geek Squad Co-conspirators too? The States theory is subjective at best, However, Charlie's explanation is by far, More believable. That being said, a case against Wendi? Even suggesting that is slanderous!
Lastly, personal analogy, I have heard Flat-earthers make better arguments for their misdirected theories than the ADA has on hers. As far as I am concerned, whatever circumstantial events the State had, was completely negated when Professor Jeff Lacassa was called to the stand.

@@millennialme9578 well he had a reputation for being incredibly strict. It was my first year of law school, which is already intimidating, and you don’t get to pick any of your classes or professors in your first year. Luckily it was the second semester of the first year, so we all kind of understood what law school was and what was expected. Even so he was our strictest professor. Class stares at 10:30am if you came in at 10:30 and 2 seconds he would not let you in class. There was no technology allowed, no taking notes on laptop or tablets, certainly no cell phones. You also could not leave class barring a major emergency. The class was 1.5 hours. At the midway point he gave a 5 minute break, so if you were late and unable to come in earlier you could come in at that point, and if you needed to use the restroom you could then. With all these crazy rules I expected to hate him and his class, but actually I think his class was a favorite for many of us. It was criminal law so that alone made it more interesting than some other classes like the one we had before his at 8:00am on federal legislation and regulatory body’s authority. The lectures were very engaging. I did not agree with all of his views on crime and punishment, but he always was very respectful and encouraged debate. The one thing that always makes me sad thinking back on those classes was how clear it was how much he loved his two sons. He mentioned them all the time, he even had nicknames he referred to them by. Idk if I should say, but he called them Ben Ben, and Link, and he talked about them at least once a week.

There is another famous murder that happened here in Tallahassee around 2000, the case of Mike Williams. His mother refused to believe that he drowned while fishing, she was quite sure something nefarious happened to her son. About 17 years later, his body was found, his best friend was arrested for killing him, and then his wife was also arrested for the same. Mike had a one year old daughter when he was killed. In spite of finding out that her mother and her stepfather had killed her father, she refused to have anything to do with her paternal grandmother. I sure hope Dan’s boys are smarter than that and don’t leave their paternal grandparents out of their lives.

Sorry, but making up a motive doesn't provide evidence for a trial. Motive isn't even superficially needed to get a conviction. You have watched too many TV shows and movies. Trying to discern a motive is something detectives do in order to come up with suspects, but it isn't actual evidence. Someone might be the beneficiary of a $5 billion dollar life insurance policy on a murder victim. That would very likely be a reason for the police to look into the someone, but it does absolutely nothing to demonstrate the someone had anything to do with the victim's death. Why someone might want someone else to be killed is not evidence.

Sigh.... again... as I have explained in detail in this thread already... motive isn't evidence of a crime. It is a basis to think the person MIGHT HAVE WANTED to do something illegal. Having a reason to do something illegal is not evidence that you did something illegal.
**WE know foe certain Wendi is a liar and somewhat acting about it.**
No you don't at all know she is lying. You think she is, apparently, but you don't at all know it. In fact, you really don't have any evidence of it. You are simply operating on a hunch. A hunch isn't even a legal basis to detain someone under suspicion of a crime, let alone arrest the person, let along put the person on trial, let along convict the person.

That's an absolute lie. Wendi always used Trescott Dr whenever she was going downtown which is where Dan lived nearby. Wendi even references that in her 2014 Police interview and Jeff Lacasse testified that they've been down Trescott Dr several times because Wendi's use to live there with Dan, therefore, she had a history of driving by.
And another lie, Wendi never drove all the way to the crime scene tape. she was wearing contact lenses that day, so she saw the crime scene from a good distance away. Officer Bill Brannon testified that he didn't identify Wendi and that her car made an immediate turn. And keep in mind that the crime scene tape was blocked off 3 or 4 houses down. There was no specific time, day or specific place that the murder was supposed to happen. It just had to happen before Dan left for New York. So, even if the murder had not happened or it happened later, "Wendi Adelson still would have driven down Trescott at that exact same to go to ABC Liquor (which was 3 or 4 blocks away) to purchase Bullet Bourbon for the stock the bar event which was planned the day prior in an email. 80% of the news that your hearing about Wendi is either exaggerated or blown out proportion to fit their narrative. Nah she’s just a lying liar thinking they’re all free & clear . Charge her & the Mother too ,if her Brother is charged they should be too .

Justice system has not failed. Charlie, and three others have been convicted and are in prison. Donna now arrested and indicted. It takes time to investigate and get ready for trials. You only get one chance to go to trial if state is not prepared it will not go well.

Everyone should take heart that this families main goal was to erase Dan “the horrible ex” and live happily ever after in SoFlo w Wendi and the boys. Instead, they have been losing sleep every day since they knew the cops were onto them. Imagine that stress. Best revenge ever is this long drawn out torture of “what is the next shoe to drop? Can I speak freely? Am I getting arrested today?” They deserve it all and then some. My sympathy goes to these poor kids who have missed out on having their father in their lives while being raised by a family who made sure he wouldn’t be.

Wendi got lucky. She saw tape but didn't wonder if her kids were safe? I'm sure it was a decision by the Adelson trio. One of them has to stay out of prison to oversee the family affairs as well as keep the kids. Two of them agreed to take the fall. All well planned.

Honestly it doesn´t even matter if Wendi gets charged at this point. Her life for the past 8 years or so must have been hell, and now her brother and mother are going to prison forever. She can´t talk anywhere with anyone without worrying if someone might be listening, and her children are teenagers now and udoubtedly know that their own mother, their uncle and their grandmother conspiered to kill their loving father.

Donna and Charlie initiated the murder plan. Wendi knew in advance of the murder and helped plan it. She went to murder scene because she couldn’t help herself.
