At this stage of a match you can not let go these moments this easily.
This match also proves that teams which perform better in fielding tend to win. Really love your analysis. It's empathetic but critical when required. And congratulations behram for canada's win.

the problem for Amir in the superover was the left hander. Amir bowled his last 2 overs to right handers where he had full control of the reverse swing. when he saw the left hander he was afraid he cant control the swing giving a wide hit me ball, so he went for led stump yorkers and ended up being wides. all his wides are to the lefthander. he actually only gave away one boundary and thats bad keeping by rizwan in the superover. if Azam did that same keeping, people would be asking for his death penalty.
It was nice of the US to not appeal at the end like Bangladesh, could easily have been out, we took ages. We were horrendous from start to finish in every department! A cowardly performance, a defeatist mindset, such poor body language! Saad is so on point about the basics....... All we had to do is do the basics right and we could have won easily!! I do like your analysis usually and agree to most points lekin I really really am annoyed when someone says, martay huye out hua hay kher hay. I am all for intent if someone is scoring big more often that not. What are wo gonna do if all of them are looking for a quick 12 off 7? How can all the players just look to slog? We tried Haider, Asif, Khushdil, Azam, Iftikhar for that role but it clearly doesn't work. In the end, no one can hit from ball one. You need to at least know the wicket to take your team to 200. Usman, Fakhar and Shadab (to some extent) were extremely careless. Intent is not our problem when we are barely managing to play 20 overs. Wanted to say this for a long time!!!
