I just recently found you a few days ago and I'm sensing how motivated I'm getting to clean my house. :) I don't know what it is about watching you, I think it's a combination of the lovely music and the methods you are using along with the way you so peacefully narrate your steps. But I am moved and pulled to do it as well, and I find I am loving this form of motivation! I just had to subscribe, and I want to watch you every day so it will help me get up and move! I borrowed your idea of using a cutting board to create a “coffee station” and it works great! I love being able to slide everything in and out together and makes it so much easier to clean under, behind and all around the grinder and canisters. Thanks! 👍🏻
That was a happy accident! I was trying to style a coffee "station" and realized it😂 was so much more functional.
I am absolutely going to use that Idea.

If you buy organic bananas, you can use the peel in your smoothies. They have lots of nutrition and you barely can taste them.

i think it's brilliant that you put your coffee maker on the charcuterie board. It slides easily to make the coffee, and then slides back under the cabinets.

Greetings From Qatar! Your video popped up on my TH-cam Feed this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed this upload. Many of your comments were definitely relatable 🤗. I'm a Librarian by profession but am really a frustrated Interior Decorator so always handle the nuances pertaining to our homes. My husband is an Electrical Engineer yet ACTUALLY ENJOYS grocery shopping and cooking 😂, so our division of labour around the home is very clear. Although I am American born and raised in the Northeast of America, my husband was born in Morocco and loved preparing his native country foods. Since I enjoy anything that I didn't have to prep and cook, it was a WIN-WIN situation for us 🤣. Back in 2008, my husband's company moved us from Connecticut to California. We were living in the San Jose area. It was my first time to live in California, but not for my husband, so as I was unpacking and decorating our new home, the first thing he instructed me not to do was to mount any pictures on the wall above our bed because of the earthquakes. He didn't want a middle of the night earthquake to shake the picture off and down upon our heads 😂. Otherwise, I was free to do as I pleased. While I was living in California, I worked for the City of Palo Alto and the City of Novato in Marin County. I truly enjoyed my 8 years living there; the moderate year round climate was a welcome change from the harsh winters of the Northeast. My husband retired in 2016 and we moved to Arizona, but I am now working in the country of Qatar. Thanks, again, for sharing a glimpse of a couple of days in your life. Happy New Year!

I am a new viewer and am enjoying your videos. It's so relaxing to watch someone clean when it looks like they are enjoying the tasks. The only thing that I think you mentioned that you don't enjoy is folding socks, lol. I hope your husband appreciates your efforts and keeps his sock drawer orderly. My husband does not. I love how easy going your dogs are, they don't seem to mind the vacuum cleaner at all. I have to always put my two little dogs in another room. Thank you for the videos. :)

Another great video! Microfiber cloths have made a huge difference in cleaning especially with the push for green(er) cleaning. Someone else I watch just mentioned that she is looking for an alternative to them because of the microplastic in them. I started doing a little research and it seems to be true. The microplastics end up in the water and more ocean pollution. I had no idea that plastic was involved in microfiber. Have you ever heard about that? It seems like every day there is something new to stop using. Will miss your video next week! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
there is a con to every pro, unfortunately. I think it's the lesser of the evils. Using chemicals and single use plastics are worse.
Ruthie, I agree. I continue to use cotton cloth I cut from worn out Tshirts. I use soap, water to rinse and a dry cotton cloth to dry. End of the week, all the cloths go into the washer with bleach and we start over again for next week.
@@ellenraysmith4391 I have gone back to cotton. I remember as a kid using pieces of old t shirts to shine up the kitchen canister set! I guess my mother was always right! 😁

How often do you grocery shop? Do you do a monthly haul and then weekly for certain items? Shop weekly? Shop when the mood hits?
Hi Diane! Happy New Year! We shop weekly and stock up on what ever we need. My husband does most of the shopping on the way home from work. Thursday or Friday.
