One of the things I have always enjoyed about your channel is that you do change and evolve over the years without being overly committed to one particular lifestyle.
I think it's a much more realistic representation of human health and our journey to keep learning about what works best for us!

My favorite eating pattern is grass fed and finished, regenerative all beef diet with small amounts of fish 1 or 2 times a week, fermented foods like sauerkraut, raw milk kefir and finally the L ruiteri yogurt. Also if you do carnivore without restricting food, having ferments with it, and do 1 meal a day, you may find you're not hungry for those sweet things. Having the low carb ferments is especially important to be eaten before the meat. Lastly being keto even eating 15 to 20 carbs can trigger sugar cravings so turn down the knob of dietary sugar as close to 0 as possible and your sweet tooth will slowly disappear. Grounding, reverse osmosis water will help with sugar cravings to. Lastly consuming beef until you are stuffed with kill sugar cravings as nutrient dense foods also help with satiety but normally cravings for sugar isnt derived from true hunger since sugar can release dopamine and seratonin in the gut which can create slight highs and lows of dopamine and seratonin increasing your desire for sweet things. And careful with mono sodium glutamate as it causes artifical hunger as well

I found that I never felt all that well on the keto diet. I lost extra weight but just didn’t ever feel really good. When I changed to eating Whole Foods I started feeling great! I have to be careful but I now eat from all the food groups. Really lowered my sugar intake though. Don’t eat any sweeteners except for maple syrup or honey.

In my 40s, but I've noticed the same thing. Used to be able to have a double shot of espresso then go right to sleep. 😅

When I used to make yogurt in our old house I put it in the room where my husband had all his computer servers. It was just about the right temperature!

Good morning, I’m having black coffee in WI. Love your informative videos. IN making yoghurt, Amazon has a probiotic with prebiotic and very high in everything you need. Would that work with your L. Reuteri? I don’t like sour yogurt, could I add coconut milk or cream and what do you think of adding gelatin? Thank you for all you do for us.

My brother drinks a caffeinated beverage to get to sleep. He has ADHD, and stimulants calm him.
I used to (25+ years ago) be able to drink yea, coffee, or a soft drink right up to bedtime. Not so much in the last few years, but there are still times I can do that. I have not been diagnosed ADHD, but it has long been suspected. I really don't see the point in seeking a dx at 56, LOL.

I made the sibo yogurt. There is a pinkish ring around the edge of the jars. Is it bad bacteria?

Oh, and the probiotic product is pronounced "keh-FEER," not "KEE-fer."
