Hey BBC People, Can you please offer more BBC channels in the States besides BBC America. BBC America is okay, but I am all caught up on Star Trek Reruns.

It's too late. The show runners ran out of ideas years ago. All the recent Doctor portraying actors suffered that. :( Another comic relief episode (like the one with Rowan Atkinson) would suit him though.

What Mr. Ayoade stated is sort of the truth. In the UK and Europe they were almost exclusively royals (which were of course, whites). Even today, try and look up the top 50 or 100 socialites. People don't say it, but 'white/caucasian' can almost be part of the definition of a socialite. I think that was what Ayoade went for.
I think consistency is key in life. Often, there's a tendency to reach for excellence, but a life of excellence is a boring life. I think we also need comforting mediocrity. That's why I'm here. That titter is the kind of laugh that comforts me. It's not a 'good' laugh. It's not a laugh that says 'Oh! Something funny happened!' It just is kind of like a place marker that something occurred- we'd acknowledge it (we didn't like it.) That time has passed- and if I can reflect that, then that's something. this is just 4 me to read all the time
I think it's more that they both have mastered a form of timing related to akward conversation that if those two were riffing off eachother it would be amazing.
Could you imagine like Aubrey as his mentally ill wife and Richard akwardly try to explain her behavior to people? Like imagine Curb Your Enthusiasm but its Ayoade and Aubrey getting to progressively bizarre adventures?
They both go to the same therapist and he gets the idea since they are both 30 something virgins, they should practice the art of coupling in a social context together. The show is about them navigating the consequences of this experiment in behavioral therapy

Outside key club in Leeds theres a little dog that looks like that called Tony with some Asian hobo lady. Tony is a legend, hes always going crazy at people in the smokers bit.
He is more like Moss than I ever thought he would be in "real life" (I put it in quotes bc i understand he's joking around but man he really doesn't break character lmao)

I love how angry he seems to be in that episode where he's on Sean's team. I feel like it was an act, but maybe not, and either way it's entertaining as hell.
Gotta love the self-control he exhibits. Very rarely does he crack up in fits of hysteria... if ever, actually. And it's not as though what he's saying isn't funny. He's kinda like Jack Dee in that respect, but he delivers his own brand of deadpan, and perhaps even more successfully, too. Still love Jack Dee though.

This is so delightful. Already a fan of Richard and British humor in general, but everything about this is so unlike my home country (America) in all the best ways, from the quiz show mental gymnastics, to the good humored ribbing and style of the hilarious outro. So, so very subscribed.
