I like how you incorporate a proper airbox into your builds. I learned from Ant while watching wheeler dealers that those short-ram intakes that a lot of people run actually loose power because your intake air source is the hot air from under the hood.
The sound of that B18c5 and blower is unreal.
I like in the beginning of the video how you walked outta the shop as the civic was revving up LMAO.
A tip to sanding the raised letters on the valve cover, use a handheld block sander. Start slow and move the valve cover around. It'll come out perfect.
Love the build, quick little hatch, looks fun to drive. Love EG's always wanted one!
Oh man, it was really cool to see that little girl get so excited about revving a Civic. The car sounds amazing, it's exactly the kind of sound, power level, and powerband I want my 96 hatch to eventually have. Love the videos man, you guys are doing great things.
Easy 300 with no cat and 3” exhaust and maybe a little more with e85. Would be nice to see. Love the car and build. Do a raffle on the car it’ll go fast
Those are some good IATs! Even with an aftercooler on my k series SC, I was still seeing 180 IATs at the top of 4th on a 100+ degree day. Water/Meth injection was the only way I was able to keep my IATs under 120.

I loved this series it really hits home since I have one laying in my garage this one I will truly miss when it goes hope the next owners take great care of it and stop by from time to time

I'm not a fan of yellow cars (even though my last S2k was yellow) but the yellow on that EG along with those wheels, stance and carbon hatch just looks right!

Good Power Bone Stock. Safe and Reliable. Wish I had me a Type R Hatch or even a GSR swapped Hatch. I have a EJ1 coupe building a LSVTEC Turbo after cracking sleeves a 2nd time on my B20VTEC . Add some fuel before pulls so the engine won't starve.

Thanks buddy. Pulleys should be early January. The clutch is an FX300 and Nachi bearing

That’s interesting.
The engine looks great! I could envision it being aesthetically improved by fabricating hard coolant lines for the intercooler that run parallel to the manifold and terminating a bit beyond the end of the manifold where it would receive rubber short lines to jump over to additional hard lines on the chassis. Basically it'd be something similar to What Honda would do if it had originally been equipped with your components.
This isn’t just about showing off we can do, earlier in the series we show how to install and plumb the lines using off the shelf parts from the parts store. We could build some really trick stuff, but this is not what the DIY guy in his garage has. We sell a lot of them components and wanted to show how to install them. Hope this makes sense.

Hi. Live the s2000 videos. I have a ap1 s2k (year 2000 built) I’m noticing the rear rotors get hotter than the fronts even when I’m not really using the brakes. The disks & pads look old ive taken the rear calipers apart but could it be anything to do with the brake bias?

I know it’s a random question but would you say the SC increases the mpg or lowers it? I only ask because when you guys drove to the tail of the dragan you guys stated the George’s civic mpg increased because of his turbos.
Well, Normal driving and cruising we usually see a slight increase in mpg with a SC ( 1to 2 mpg) and more with a Turbo car. The turbo kits we used to build for the Honda Insight increased the mpg and amazing amount. Now, putting your foot into it, that’s a different story. Lol.
@@LHTPerformance What's the general principle that allows increased MPG with forced induction? More power at lower RPMs? Therefore less cumulative injector pulses as you accelerate to cruising speed? And therefore less total fuel consumed during acceleration?
That blower just whines so nice makes me question if there is something goofy with mine. Perhaps my exhaust is too loud or something else is wrong. Mostly stock b16a jrsc 3.8 pulley no stepper stock crank intake with header back exhaust . Unless the lht s tube and intercooler really opens it up.

I would have loved to paint that car
I'd reclear the hood then wrap the whole car in the same yellow. You can always pull off the wrap and paint it later on if you want to. You could probably get the wrap for like 200 bucks and do it in a day or two 1 panel at a time. Even if it's not perfect it's better than the failing clear coat.

you have to give that car a proper paint job, maybe do a barter system or something. def get that carbon hood redone for sure that's killing me lol.

I have a '97 Del Sol w/ a JDM B18C. What would it cost to get that JRSC setup? I've got cash...just curious what it'd cost if I bought all of the components you sell. Do you do a discount if I got all the parts?
Finding a good supercharger kit is a challenge, This would be the first step.

Also, the Bert hatch will look good with an OEM lip and corners, but that's just me

Use a sanding block for the letters and you wouldn’t have to fill in around the H.
The material will tend to ball up and scratch the area between the letters. We do about 100 of these a year.
@@LHTPerformance maybe more cure time? Do you bake for cure? How long after bake at ambient before sanding? Just a suggestion. On 787s, if I try to sand clear coat, or anything for that matter too soon after it comes out of heat, it will still be soft and ball up. Finer the grit, the easier that happens as well which is what you have to use in your case to get a polished finish. That all being said, idk what material you’re using for paint. I used to do that when I did covers on Honda’s back in the day. Just don’t try it on wrinkle coatings too early. That’s a disaster. Keep up the good work. I wish I could afford to pick up that eg.
