That couple with the matching jackets was pretty cute, that is the stereotype we see in K-dramas, also that you guys are fragile like glass so have to go to the hospital if you fall down, and will die from fever if you get wet or cold for a few minutes lol.
Haha that's true! After I started watching Korean dramas, I thought "Why do Korean people faint so much? Why do they almost die from a fever when they break up with a boyfriend? They must be really fragile and sensitive!" lol
I highly doubt that thieves would steal things in cafes though, because there are cameras and stuff. It would've been more interesting to watch if you left something on a bench in some park :D
In New York, they will. Oh yeah. Any where, any time, guarantee. A comedy show did a similar experiment at the NY subway to catch people who jump the turnstile. And of course they caught many people just casually doing it. Then when confronted on camera, they asked the interviewer if she was the police. Then when she said no, they just walked away like they didn't care. So yeah, you will get your stuff stolen in NY. Doesn't matter if you're carrying it or if you left it somewhere. It will be gone 🤦♂️🤦♀️
I have webcam with .my girlfriend a lot. :) She is korean and living in Seoul. ( She will move here soon) But a view months ago I had webcam with her when she was in the park and she just left her laptop and phone there to buy an ice cream.. xD (30 + min) The only thing what happened a view times were koreans walking by, seeing me sitting and looking and they waved hi at me lol. Hi Rachel! Watching this video reminded me of when I was in Korea! Actually, I did leave my phone + wallet out on the table in a cafe before, and when I came back, nothing was touched! I was so amazed, but actually the cafe was pretty empty at that time. I have two more and better testimonies! There was two other times that I forgot/lost my phone in Korea. The first time, I left my phone outside of a small concert hall and restaurant. I didn't realize it until I already walked 30 minutes away! I returned to the place to find that my phone was no where to be seen. I almost gave up but I went into the restaurant next to the place I had left my phone and thank goodness the person who found it had given it to the restaurant owners for safe keeping. The second time, I left my phone in the subway station on a bench! I only realized 2 stops later and came right back to find that someone had taken my phone to the security desk. Korea is seriously so safe, everyone! Please visit if you are able. I'm planning to go back soon 😊

If you leave your lap top, bag, cell phone, or even wallet on a table at cafes and retaurants in Korea, people just think that your seat is taken and dont think anything else..they just think, this seat is taken so I will sit somewhere else or they dont even look. I experienced this all the time in Korea. No one looks at other people's belongings even. If it is not their stuff, they dont even look or pay attention. On the other hand, I got my money stolen in Australia when I left my.wallet in a bath room for just 5 seconds, I had my navigator and computer stolen in America lol. Wow! I heard about a women that she lost 200$ dollars something like that, she was in the bus believe or not when she was leaving she begin to search it and no one take her cash and someone find it and gave it to her .
I forgot my shopping bag in a subway toilet in Korea, I went outside the bathroom and then I noticed that I didn't have my bag so I went back to get it. However, there was a woman in the toilet I used before and she snatched my shopping bag. When she went out of the toilet I saw my pink plastic bag in her bag and I told her that I was mine and I accidentally left it at the toilet. But she couldn't understand me? Or didn't want to. Because when I poked on it and said that it was mine she screamed something in Korean to me and ran away. I was in shock after that because I live in Japan and if that were to happen here the bag would still be in the place you left it. (And I only left it for 30 seconds in Korea? and there was a person that took it) lol
I have watched other videos by other people leaving their stuff on busy Korean streets and nothing happened. Do that in most Western countries and your stuff would be gone in minutes

(And I only left it for 30 seconds in Korea? and there was a person that took it) lol
I have watched other videos by other people leaving their stuff on busy Korean streets and nothing happened. Do that in most Western countries and your stuff would be gone in minutes
Hey Rachel u said ask you whenever we want . I messaged you on instagram but you didn't replied anyways u could have been busy i don't know. Kindly make a video about medical universities in Korea . love you and your videos
Once in Florida USA a guy left his bag behind, someone tried to take it, and for some reason a stranger pulled out a samurai sword and attempted to attack him
It was one of the greatest news stories i saw
Thats still cool but I dont think anyone will steal something from korean in korea in a cafe where security cameras are and employees and people are watching maybe if would have been another story if it was in street and with foreigner
It was a nice experiment~ I'm from Israel and unfortunately in here it's highly recommended not to leave your stuff unguarded if you don't have someone to keep an eye on your stuff like that then most likely they won't be there when you come back haha... *sighs...*
Well guys~~ that’s not as surprise as my experience that i had today..
We bought a tissue and my father did leave it in the shopping cart. And we realized that we forgot that after came back home .....Hahahahaha lalalala
We called the store and they said someone found that tissue and got back to the counter. Wow we have that stuff now. It is common in korea i guess. Is there anyone who has those experience :)
Here’s the big difference between South Africans (btw, love from South Africa 🇿🇦) and South Koreans 👏😂
That salesman recruiter from Squid Game would struggle to recruit SA people, don’t leave your brief case just laying there…and we won’t even go for the money he offered from his hand, we are gonna straight up snatch up that briefcase and run 🏃🏻♀️👀
in hawaii they'll steal ur wireless earbuds & u won't even notice it missing because the music is still playing in ur ears. that's how fast thieves are here.
Koreans did steal something from me .... My Heart 💝😊, I love Korea and the Korean People and Culture . Love your videos Rachel Kim , and much love to you girl . 💝💝💝💝😊
@TH-camr Thanks it was me my spell correct failed me lol
i hope it's the same in malaysia .
Why do you wear your hair up in the videos vs 'real life' ? Just curious
Yeah but no one would actually steal something in front of those people👁
Imagine if they stole your camera. ;)
I think in other countries someone would have called the police and the café would have been evacuated. ^^
Hello Rachel 💖
That's impressive!
“My laptop is still there......... and my face is still there too “ 😂 I died
You are Korean and a thief, YOU stole my Heart, haha, keep doing great videos
5:15 can i get his contacts?
Video idea.
How to befriend koreans girls!
I don't care about boys. I just want female friends to hang out with. But as a girl it's so hard to get close with korean girls.
Could you try it in a place where they don't have security cameras? 😅
lol, but the second time its right next to someone, why would people walking by take it? like the only person who could take it would be the person sitting next to it and they were too busy with their own stuff to notice. Love your other videos though, I just think this one was for its purpose not that good. absolutely love all your videos tho!!!:)
I love you
I wish I could say this for my tribe😐(Native American)... But hey! We are natural listener for both nature and humans😁😉👍👍
Rachel I love you ❤❤❤❤
I've literally slept outside overnight in Korea and woke up with all my belongings still on me.
I felt totally safe as a female when I was in Korea alone, even late at night.
Hi Rachel (: 🤗
Leave it in the street I want to watch that experiment xD
Heyy Rachel
Nice Viedeo and hi from Austria 👋
This is so crazy to me. You could never do this in America
