well, it seems that the Bs are right back into a troubling display of " hockey. " they looked much better defensively in their two shutouts against weak teams, but now the defense is back at it again, not covering the net and taking useless penalties. all i can suggest is to resort to archaic fundamentals when there are no answers to be found. if they want to play selfish and undisciplined hockey, force feed 'em some discipline and unpleasant consequences. dr. honcho prescribes positional play and covering the net drills for the Dmen until they are ready to fall down. suicide skating drills for everyone until they puke or pass out. monty needs to make practices like going to a dentist who has no novocaine as a reward for embarrassing losses featuring selfish play. hint : when a child can pretty accurately assess the play and faults of a team, she is probably fairly precocious, but also the team's faults are simple in nature. we don't need monty resorting to his beloved hockey babble. make practices half as painful for the players as the games are for the fans. we're the ones payin'. monty should be forced to view the slapshot movie sequel with the fancy team. that is the Bs right now. kickass fundamental hockey is always fun. if you can add some talent, you have a winner. that is the Bs potential.
The game was bad! They need to bench mcavoy and zadorov, till the figure out how not to take penalties. The zadorov signing is looking realllyyy bad!! Lindholm’s FA signing is looking bad and that is what 7 years? This off season all i saw was Sweeney going after bottom 6 players. Then wasted all the cap space on two players that just aren’t showing how they are worth it. Not sure a trade will make a big difference.
I don't think Fredrick should be the scapegoat as a fix all. If the Bruins want to clear cap space to bring in secondary scoring. The Bruins need to move Coyle. Not worth his contract.
I hope they do better tonight. Pasta has got to be better, take away his A pretty soon if he’s gonna continue to turn over the puck like a turnover machine. Just the dumb penalties he takes also. I think it would be suicidal to the Bruins identity to trade him and there are many MANY more who I would have no problem with them shopping way before it gets to him. They could start with their massively overpaid and underperforming blue line LOL. Defense was already a strength (on paper) before they went out and spent to the moon. I’d be shopping almost anybody on that defense not named Charlie McAvoy (and honestly for his play, He’s lucky he’s not included) and there’s not many phone calls I wouldn’t at least listen to
Half that defence have NM clauses
Fml Didn’t even think about that. Definitely takes at least three out of the top four out of the running so not much value there I guess. Off the top of my head not sure if Carlo has one
I mean, damn the whole team has no movement clauses 😂. Don Sweeney gives them out like candy… I know the Bruins like to do right by their players, but I think some of this stuff has kind of screwed them over moving forward
@@hockeytalk6084 yup we’re kinda stuck with these guys
I used to be a fan of Monty, but now I can’t help but feel that a coaching change could be coming. Not a fan of how the Bruins are playing right now at all.
@@ConeManRBLX yeah I’m not a fan either and just when you think they figured it out they have a stinker
Leafs d is way bigger and more physical this year..
They where faster
It’s to bad that they lost. They didn’t play well, stupid penalties. There’s no light in there eyes. It’s sad, they won’t make the playoffs this season not at this rate. There next game against Calgary who’s been playing well. Always appreciate your take after the game ❤❤
I think you’re right about playoffs. My daughter still had a great time so I take that as a win
@@bruinsdiehards 😂
This team has been broken up enough already please 🙏 let them gel.
Time to switch out personnel on the special teams. Cant get much worse
Yup they have to change
Are you a Bruins fan from Canada?
I am. My dad used to play for them?
@@bruinsdiehards That’s awesome
well, it seems that the Bs are right back into a troubling display of " hockey.
I dont think he is a fix either or scapegoat. I think teams smell blood in the water
I hope they do better tonight. Pasta has got to be better, take away his A pretty soon if he’s gonna continue to turn over the puck like a turnover machine. Just the dumb penalties he takes also. I know it’s still young into a season but he’s only projected to have 64 points with 90 penalty minutes… gotta have him better defensively, stop turning over pucks and, stop taking penalties, he just has to be the old pasta he was.
Everyone has played bad
@@bruinsdiehards yeah but he’s our superstar and should be playing like an elite player the amount of times he’s turned over the puck is just horrible. He gets paid 11 million. He should be the highest standard player on the ice.
@ I guess but when everyone around is shit it’s kinda hard to
14-9 on give away’s. Sad! Again, to many dumb penalties. I guarantee if they could “fine” the players on dumb penalties it would stop. They get another PP only to get called to make it a 4 v 4. Unbelievable! I wasn’t sold when they won their last 2, this proves they are nowhere near where they should be. “If” they fire Monty and get a new coach and they still play like crap, what then? I’ll always support my team but it’s just so disappointing and embarrassing.
Maybe it is finally the down time for the Bruins
Please keep Freddie
My guess is this rumour is starting because he is a UFA at the end of the year

.500 the rest of the season. Rebuild time
If they’re lucky
Lost on stupid penalties - again. That was just too much ice time on your heels against a good team. B’s actually controlled a lot of play and they simply did not convert on hi-scoring chances. Swayman did well and 3 of those goals were not on him. It is just the way the game went. It happens - just sucks it was against the Leafs. Oh, and Monty, find other “privileged” players on specialty teams. They clearly lost the privilege coach.
Yeah I’m frustrated about the powerplay now
This is Don Sweeney's mess. Start by replacing him.
@@mytimebox1 with who?
@@bruinsdiehards Shawn Thornton
@ doesn't he work for the Panthers?
@ yes, he knows what it takes to build a Stanley Cup winning team. We need closers who are built for winning. This is shaping up to be a long winter of watching grown men skating with sticks.
NOBODY fights during playoffs people. its all about discipline goal scoring defense timely saves/goalie standing on their heads.
Yup
