- Exclusive to The Mob Reporter, here is an extended tour of the inside of a clubhouse of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, the largest outlaw motorcycle club in the world. In 2006 in Canada, Ontario Provincial Police seized the HAMC Niagara chapter's clubhouse in the Welland, near the border with the United States; 15 Hells Angels members were arrested in what was called Project Tandem.
This is a tour of the inside of the clubhouse before it was demolished in January 2020.

I was raised outside of London Ontario on a reservation. My grandmother ran apartment buildings in one of the shittier parts of the city called glebe street. The angels had a clubhouse around the corner and they would always come and offer her help with things. They always told her if she ever needed anything they would help her out. I always thought that was so much different than how the media portrayed them. They seemed like good guys to me as a kid.
I agree 100%. Don’t live that lifestyle and don’t conduct business with them and you’re completely fine. My grandmother lived next to a Clubhouse when we were kids and it was by far the safest street in town.
Oneida Wolf There’s no doubt that a lot of them are decent people just want to ride and have that brother hood but there’s some nasty ones as well plus some of the things they have to do to pledge aren’t nice.

Oh for sure just ask any of the families who have had their daughter taken and forced into the sex trade or a son who was taken and forced to do there dirty work. Or any of the families who have had a son, daughter or other family members murdered because they may or may not have owed them money for the addiction they create in every community they are in. Ya good guys for sure what a joke.
Anyone who protects these criminals is as guilty as them for the devastation they cause to communities.
That's because alot of traditional outlaw motorcycle club members live by a code. They may or may not be involved in criminal activities, but beyond that they are a brotherhood, a family. To them that comes first, they dont go out of their way to do bad, criminal things with every single action they take. They try to do alot of good where they can as well, not to balance anything out but because thats genuinely who they are as people, the non legal stuff, to them, isnt wrong, they just dont follow the established rules and laws. So some stuff they do would be considered normal, decent human being stuff, and other stuff would be against the law. To them its all the same as they dont live by anyones laws but their own.
Before the eventual reply comments from the Karens out there, I'm not in anyway saying i condone or agree or disagree with any moral points here, just explaining the why and how the OP here had the experiences that they had.

The one in Calgary, Alberta was the only “house” next to my grandfather’s for years until the city annexed all the land for road construction. He once saved their dog when it decided to jump the 8’ high fence while on a chain. He got a visit the next day b/c they saw on the cameras what he did. One of the few non members ever invited into that clubhouse, needless to say they told him that, as long as they were neighbours, they would watch out for his house like he did for them. They may be criminals but they understand respect and loyalty.

You people watch way to much tv. At each clubhouse every so often there's a open house for the public to come in and check things out. It looks like a regular bar with a merchandise strore front because the public can come drink at the bar part and buy merch at any time during normal business hours. 81 is a good group. Look up what is don't for charity and people also forget the hours stood in black Friday lines to buy every single bicycle Wal-Mart had for the kids who wouldn't have Xmas or a bike.. There is many good things done the public don't get told and don't see.. Show support for your local HA..
I remember being 20 and walking into a bar where hells angels were in. I asked the guy “are you really hells angels?” And he looks at me side eye and lowers his shades and says “what do u think?” 😝

I knew several members back in the late 1960's at the then GM Assembly plant in Fremont California. They treated me fair and square. I was about 18 years old, and they impressed the heck out of me. 👍

I've been around quite a few club members and they've always treated me great. You wouldn't know it from the media hype but some of them are highly intelligent guys.

I was in a red and white clubhouse as a teen. My pops is a high voltage electrician and his apprentice was an Angel in Sacramento. They had some kind of wiring or electric issue at the clubhouse the apprentice was having problems with. So he asked of my pops could take a look. So on a Saturday my dad and I went with him and dad figured out it was a problem in the breaker box itself and switched it out for them. No charge.. just exchange for a few beers lol

These clubs for the most part do their own thing, and rival against other clubs. That being said they have helped more people not in any club status than most other people. They stand up for fundamentally right and wrong. They have issues with other clubs and deal with them accordingly. I would gladly extend an olive branch to HA because they are the small segment of society that truly believes in, lives by, and enforces on their own the life style.
They would bring easter eggs to the children's home I lived in and went around most of them in the UK. I think it was them anyway.

My ex-girlfriend's brother was president of the local charter. I used to party at their clubhouse. They where actually pretty nice guys.
The inside of the clubhouse basically looked like a nightclub. Big screens, pool tables, bar, stripper pole.

Thought it looked familiar! I grew up in Niagara Falls area and my mom was a dancer at Mints - she dated a Hell's Angel for a while and on several occasions I stayed in a bedroom upstairs. Surprisingly boring place for a kid under 12.

I've been in the clubhouse of the hells angels in trois rivières in 2006 or 2008. It was impressive how clean this place was. Everybody was also really respectful, keep in mind that I'm not white. Anyway, I enjoyed the pool a whole day 😂

@Devon R B, exactly! I met a number of the Oakland Hells Angels several times in the early 80’s. I was a bar and restaurant manager at Gallagher’s Bar and Restaurant in Jack London Square, Oakland. They were pretty mellow when they came in, as I ‘m sure is usually the case when they’re out in public. However, you just knew not to fk with them! My main job when they frequented was to stand guard along with a couple of my compadres in case a drunk patron got filled with some alcohol induced bravado. It was a really nice place and we didn’t want to see it get trashed!! We never had an issue...thank goodness! LOL!

I was in a MC clubhouse one time and it honestly scared the shyt out of me. I felt like everyone was watching us through the cameras but he kept promising me they really werent. It was just for security reasons (he was a VP) 😂😂😂😂 couple years later we suddenly come across one person who was a member in Vegas but moved here and then a (99%er club was the next club me met) hubby stopped trying for a club after that.
The only thing I kept thinking is that building is a fire trap. I also hope someone got the bikes before they demo’d the building.

Maybe they're just getting older. A lot of the gang/mafia/biker of the past seem to have died down over time. Most violence we see these days are from the younger generation which don't seem to be affiliated with any of these.

I got news. They are people like everyone else that breathes. Most of them are more intelligent than the average person. There are rotten people in every crowd. It’s a club primarily made up of guys that fought for our country. For you and I. They all share a love of riding. The young guys and the elders have that connection. It's a beautiful thing to have so many brothers all over you can visit and count on. My best friend is an angel and life is never dull.
