I served 20 years as a Naval Aircrewman. Retired Chief Petty Officer. My wife served 23 years, retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer Yeoman. Yeah, she outranked me at work, too! We appreciate the thanks we receive, but we considered it an honor to serve. Shout out to all our brothers and sisters in all the branches, whatever the length or location of service. We all wrote that blank check that fortunately our Nation never cashed. Always remember those who did give “the last full measure of devotion”. Shine On!
I really like those medium-sized DeWalt storage boxes. I picked up a bunch last time they were around the $6 mark. The only problem is the divider layout really limits their versatility. I looked for some 3D printable alternatives, but there are very few options. Also, folks who are selling actual printed goods are charging 4-5 times the cost of the boxes. If any you printing savants know where to find decently priced files for this system, I’d appreciate the hookup! Thanks to all our vets and active service members!
Many thanks to all that served! I bought that exact set of GearWrench ratchets at that same Amazon price 3 weeks ago. I guess I should have said something...
If you've ever seen a 20 yr old kid come back from the front and see their families. Or a procession of a fallen hero. You realize what these young men and women give up for all of us. I hope we continue to remember them the other 364 days of the year when they need us.
Stacked the HF $25 off $100 deal on the buy the battery and charger for $99.99 and get the tool for free on the Hercules Band saw got two blades that DON'T come with it and spent 100.65 tax included on the whole set up. my receipt said Additional savings 174.99.
I think those craftsman tools are $35 at Lowe's right now. Ace Hardware is also doing a deal where you buy a $130 Craftsman starter kit with two batteries and a charger and you get your choice of two free tools. The tools include: the angle grinder, circ saw, large inflator, shop-style vacuum, fan, recip saw, 2 different sanders, edge router, jigsaw, power ratchet, oscillating tool, bluetooth radio, and rotary tool.
Retired USAF. Thanks for your content. Love your tool reviews and post of up coming tools at HF. I seen a post on the web with Bauer dust collector and next to it was a Bauer variable speed full size drill press. No listing yet for that size; biggest size listed right now is 17 inch. Anyways, thanks for your videos...
I served. I don't live in Montana, but one of my family members was the postmistress in Lavina for many years. When we visited, I was in high school, and that was several decades back, it was the first time I saw someone using a water distiller. The water in town was at the level where that made sense. At the time. Now, it would make much more sense to have a reverse osmosis unit, just remember to clean that input side per the instructions. (If the instructions don't say anything about cleaning that side, you may be finding it necessary to replace the unit more often than you expect.)
May have to drop in an order for that 2500 watt generator. Someone picked off my Ryobi inverter generator after Field Day this year. I did know that I should have locked it in to the bakc of the pickup, butcouldn't be bothered, and as a result coulen' keep it either.
I served and got out 20 years ago. I forgot about the holiday yesterday and sat parked outside the post office for half an hour waiting for them to open lol
Harbor freight already has the mobile work table. Pretty sure it's like 90 or $100. So if you add a discount to that, it might be a pretty good price. I'm actually looking at grabbing it just got a juggle what to buy first cuz I'm always trying to buy something. These little service cards I think will be a pretty nice addition to my garage addition to my garage
I tried the earbuds and they were very comfortable but did not fit will in my ears and flopped around. Had to return them. Wish I could find something similar.
A tip on those Menard's rebates. You can send multiple rebate receipts in with a single rebate card and Menard's will combine them into a single rebate. Don't throw away those receipts from small purchases where the rebate is less than the price of a stamp!
One thing I am not crazy about with the dewalt oscillating multi tool, the inability to turn the blades over. I have it and didn't realize that until I was in a need to situation, cutting doorframes for flooring. I've had the cordless 12v Rockwell for probably over 10 yrs. I bought the little drill as well(mainly for 2 more batteries)and the batteries are lifetime. The 1x30 belt sander I'd just go for the HF one for less on sale. I've ran mine like crazy and it's not perfect but it's easily fixed.
I served U.S. Army UH-1H crew chief/ door gunner 1982-85, then U.S. Army Computerized Supply Specialist 1997-98, Medical retired. You're welcome, it was an honor.
I believe the 12 volt Bosch multi tool is worse since it requires a tool to change the blade as opposed to the DeWalt, but the 18 volt Bosch multitool is the bees knees. I always drink my beer as there is no brand better than KAKA.💩 I ❤❤PB Swiss. Those ratcheting screwdrivers have no competitor.
Last weeks coupon deal was amazing. $99 Hercules charger and battery combo, add $25 off coupon… so $75… and then add a FREE Hercules 20v tool! Got a 5ah battery, multi volt charger and circular saw, for $75!,
Does anyone know if the $128 mid grade GW scan tool can read transmission temperatures? I’m looking for one so I can service my CVT, but don’t need to spend money for a big pro scan tool and subscription fees.
Man I’d be interested to know how that GW OBDII works and what it can do. I’d be interested in picking that up as a home gamer. I have the TopDon Bluetooth that links to your phone and have been good so far
A lot of people are doing the lifetime update on those style scan tools. I have too different brands. XTool and Topdon both have lifetime updates on the phone based scanners.
Lifetime on Bidirectional? I was just at SEMA and spent a good time talking to both companies and all of their bidirectional equipment had a subscription. I've got Topdon's new bluetooth units right here and they both have subscriptions.
The dirty secret about pellet stoves is that if the grid blinks on and off, it is very common to fry the control board. The boards commonly cost around $400. Since these have an inductive load they need pure sine wave. I have looked and no one advertises a UPS rated for a pellet stove. Do you know anyone that uses a back up power source to protect the $400 board and keep the heat on when the grid is down? I had one fry even with a good surge protector.
I ordered those earbuds on your recommendations. And not the best if you are a delivery person who moves around all day. To hear anything, you'll have to turn up the volume all the way, they aren't that loud.
the video has just posted and the inflator has already increased $20 on amazon, sorry Bear but these vendors are playing you. You show a $59 price and follow the link to $79. This is a regular thing with the jump starters and inflators, ok the coupon code works but not quite the deal we expected.
Drones are just like tools. That all depends on the job you want to do with it, but at the end of the day DJI is the brand do you wanna go with. I’ve tried them all and went back to DJI.
Hihi 👍👍 I'd argue that lifetime updates might be worthless without a track record. What if they just stop releasing them? They could just say they're not ready to release 2025 for that product, and what are you going to do about it?
Honestly I recommend the water filter guru before getting a water filter system. He rates the aquratrue system about that slim pure and they are basically the same price.
DJI has been the front runner in drone technology for like 15 years. I think the word you were looking for there is KAKA. The government is full of KAKA.
I served, Retired National Guard, 21 years. You've Helped me choosing my tools. Thanks ! 🙂 Have A Nice Day !!!

Proudly served, USAF! Flyin' High!!
I served. Veterans are respected these days and it is great to feel valued and apprecaited. This was not the case in the 70s. Love your weekly podcast
23:55 listening to this as I’m doing chores made me stop, think about what I just heard, then busted my gut laughing. 😂
If you've ever seen a 20 yr old kid come back from the front and see their families. Or a procession of a fallen hero. You realize what these young men and women give up for all of us. I hope we continue to remember them the other 364 days of the year when they need us.

That bucktool 10 in drill press is the same drill press everyone sells including HF. Replace the chuck and it's sweet
I recently bought the kobalt caulk gun and I got 8 hours out of the 1.5 amp battery and it was still on 3 bars
I have the same Pulsar and it is excellent and that is a fantastic deal! That is a pre-pandemic price.

Instead of the gearwrench extension set the husky is the same thing at half the price and old craftsman type warranty
Literally both are made by apex. It's the same set
Newbie question...What's the purpose of the ball end on Allen wrenches?
Just makes it easier to use.
Thanks for serving, now put in the code for your discount.... Please give them better
Interesting. All 3 Gearwrench scanners have exactly 44 reviews, averaging 4.5 stars. 🤔
