This is in dedication to Phil Auernheimer 3/3/1946 - 7/10/2024 at 78 yrs
Phil was owner of ADRA and operated form the 1970’s until closing shop in the early 1990’s.
Phil gave enthusiast’s like me a place to learn how to race, and a series to race in. He was a pioneer in Arizona for running up to 10 races a year, at a time when the popularity of long course racing was on the rise. He ran a very family friendly event, for all who wanted to participate. He was outstanding at taking care of all permits and dealing with blm and private land owners to satisfy every little requirement made.. Just amazing if you knew how few people he had to pull this all off.
