great vid, i hope to see more!
Nice overview 👑
what I don't like about how relic apply buff and nerf on units is that they most likely double down on something. For example, they nerf the damage of a unit and buff the counterparts, so it makes the unit not just less strong, but less effective against its counterpart. Also, the mortars in general got their rate of fire nerfed, and it takes double XP for vet...slower at doing damage and it takes double the amount of XP for vet threshold. Once again they doubled down and in practiced the unit won't be as appealing at all especially against bunkers or very campy playstyle and rewarding campy playstyle.
tbh, the air support center is one of the under used support centers. Easily get shredded by AA, free recon, but eh...
I find it hard for Relic to make Panzergrenadier Company appealing when you compare it to all the mobile Anti-infantry and Anti-tank Luftwaffe company offers.
Surprised you don’t like recovery vehicle. I think it’s a cool mechanic for risk reward
Feels a bit gimmicky to me, its fun but not something I want to see become "too good" so to speak. The feature has a place, but rather not in my sweaty tryhard games🤓
archer is 110 fuel...you can get 2 marders for cheaper in terms of fuel and does the same job lol
The archer does 240 damage and has much higher penetration
@@WreakingAllHavoc thats true, but on paper. test it out yourself with 2 marders (wehr) against a tiger and its better than an archer. take into account that a marder is 40 fuel, so 80 for 2. I think the archer should be 90 fuel since its so slow and its only role is behind an AT.
"Light australian recon squad"
isn't it just a normal section? I took the light more as a reference to them not having nades or AT options
its a normal section but with the ability to build defenses
They have no nades
@@planetary-rendez-vous Yes. What I said.
I’ve had a full health Aussie inf squad due to 1 bundle grenade that I couldn’t dodge 😢
I feel a lot of the changes bring the game closer to CoH2 mechanics, which is an improvement. This is what I’ve been saying all along, it felt like the people making coh3 didn’t have like a rudimentary checklist from coh2. It feels like we are reinventing the wheel, so silly.
It does feel like that at times
As someone who played a lot of CoH1, but had trouble getting into CoH2, CoH3 has always felt more natural and fun to me than CoH3. I don't think these are bad changes by any means, but I've always appreciated thay CoH3 is quite distinct from 2.
@@stevenkwiatkowski6818 Without getting too conspiratorial, this might just be their strategy, to cater to people like yourself: reskin with Coh1-mechanics. Also makes sense out of a complete revamp of the codebase, to keep it simple and less complicated. Then as time goes by, bring in more advanced changes that line up with the franchise's evolution. The downside to this would be disappointment with the ones that already had moved on to coh2. It could be this, or it could be just laziness, bad project management, or lack of resources.
Is ddl still worth it?
In most cases, probably not except for those teamgame slugfests where it can cover a defensive position vs offmaps/artillery
Is it worth buying the game now for $69.99 or should I wait for a big promotion?
I would wait. Right now it seems pretty unbalanced and 70 bucks are a lot of money
@@Tracerpablo yeah thanks I just hope that they keep the new units free XD
@@2024style
Worst case you can just grind the weekly quests to buy them with points
@@Tracerpablo they said that it was going to be free until further notice
