@@iai2354 The flight to get to another country. I for one don't even have a passport and yes i heard they can be hard to get. Air fares are expensive. Then they are the hotel room rates. I donlt know what its like in other countries, but the hotels near me are priced according to thte time of yr. For example, summer is more expensive to stay in one.

So I have now seen this. Thank you for uploading. With a little music running in the background I could imaging I was doing this trip myself. True facts: I have never been to the UK. This seemed to be a very nice drive though...even if it's a very long one. But there were lots of green and hills and everything. A nice landscape. It's also very refreshing seeing the things like they are. I do not know about the internet regulations in your country but if anyone else in Europe had done this trip they probably had been blurring out every license plate and most likely every single word on every car/truck in sight too.

It were ever thus. My Dad used to have a haulage company in the 1960's, he needed a new truck but the British companies said he'd need to wait a couple of months. He needed one straight away but a company he'd never of called "Volvo" said they could get him a truck straight away. Even 30years later he said the comfort of the Volvo was astonishing compared to the Brit trucks he was used to

I don't honestly know if they have Cruise control on these buses/coaches but I do know that the Volvo are quite popular with most of the drivers, cause of their well built, powerful engines and they are always improving their vehicles.
Not many make buses/coaches and lorries like the Swedish giant does.

I've taken the bus several times from Washington DC to New York and back, and I've used both Greyhound and Megabus. I would have to say Megabus is my favorite because it's more comfortable. Greyhound isn't bad, but Megabus is just a little better. Greyhound does have the advantage of having a bus station in New York where riders can sit and wait indoors for the bus. Megabus meets peoples people on the street, so if you show up early you have to wait outside, but being outside isn't bad in my opinion.

The bus made by volvo is beautiful, however the sitting space is too small for passengers, 4 seats per row may be too crowded.
By the way, i particularly love the route of Megabus from Edinburgh to Inverness, along this trip is beautiful scene.

I'm so used to driving 65-75 MPH on major highways like this here in the US that it seems almost that you've slowed the video down. I have to watch at 1.5x speed to make it seem normal for me. I just discovered your channel today, looking forward to seeing more of Britain from the roads and rails.

Going through the countryside is really nice. That part of that motorway looks like Montana. I've been to the UK. The only parts I've been to is London and Southhampton. I've never been to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I just went to England. The roads in Manchester and other cities are pretty bad. I bet riding that double decker bus is a total nightmare. Going over those bad roads is torture. I've been to Belgium (the Flemish community), Norway, Germany and France. The roads are a lot better. I rode buses in some of those countries without the rattling over bumps. That's just me. Didn't see all the roads. Anyway, this is a nice long video. I enjoyed it.
    Cheers.

During the covid period I have done a fair amount of train travel, and it has been pleasant because the trains are not full and you don't have anyone next to you. Really wish this would continue. Single seating one side, doubles the other (2+1 instead of 2+2) would lower capacity but be much more comfortable for passengers. In the 1970s a UK bus company called Southdown used to have coaches with 2+1 seating. Progress?

I grew up in Scotland and now live in England. Barely saw any Eddie Stobart in Scotland and seeing them everywhere was a clear sign you were in England on holiday.
