It might not be, but they certainly look good and the attire is in recognition of Frankie Beverly. The only I have to say about the show on Saturday is. Thin it would have been nice to have the honey bees dance with the drum majors as the drum majors pantomimed one of Frankie’s songs. The DMs look great
Where are the local white folks when this band marches? I am the whitest guy in the world but if I had any opportunity to see this band in person I would! They are super! Please tell me we are not still there.
Well u be surprised it be all races attended games !! So no we not still there lol I’m from New Orleans white folks second line and dance just as well black
Now back in my days on The Hill our DMs use to do tuxs, especially for the classic. But as an AAMU alum i will say i respect creativity. And as much as i cant stand them hornets they got one of the coolest march outs. Idk what happen to my MMW over the last 5yrs.
I agree! They look inappropriate. But I respect other peoples opinion if they disagree. IMO, AAMU made better use of their time, energy, and opportunity to perform before thousands of people a few days before a monumental election. Visionary leaders understand that timing is everything! They know their core mission and civic duty is to engage and inspire the public to effect positive social change. They are keenly aware when a significant event or opportunity lies before them. They meticulously plan how and when to seize that moment, focus their team's energy on what matters most, and then lead their team and audience (the nation!) in the right direction. Which, at this time - is Voting!
I really enjoyed the DM'S. But the white outfit didn't fit the Marching Bands Styles. That crisscross thing in the beginning of the didn't fit the march. Love the DM'S for their hard work and dedication.
I love it, they are clean and sharp!!!
