Awesome tip! I am confident that this video will help improve the curb appeal of homeowners properties. I've been utilizing the Toro stripping kit in conjunction with my electric start Toro Personal Pace for close to three years now, and I love it. I receive a lot of positive attention from people in the neighborhood when I'm doing my mowing contracts. Additionally, it's quite useful for clearing dew off the grass during high disease pressure times on non-mowing days. Changing mowing patterns will also improve the quality of your cut.
@@LawnAmateur I can tell you take pride in making your yard look it's best. You've done a great job so far it's only going to get better 😉. I started saving up for a Toro Greensmaster for my own property. My lawn is cultivars of Hattrick and Fireball Perennial Ryegrass. For heights 1" or lower you get a better cut and the stripes look even better.
Thanks again for another quality video. To be honest, I follow probably eight guys doing lawn care on TH-cam for the past 7 to 8 years, and you are the first one I have seen to actually do a full demonstration, including the lawn stripe mechanism and it's setup. Thank you for your support. Being in Texas, your only option is warm season grass type. You can switch to bermuda grass. That's actually a very nice grass type and very durable and it wouldn't be a hard switch. Bermuda grass is very dominant too Other grass options Zoysia, Bahia, and Centipede

Sup yall new to this lawn care. Just had grass put in my front yard and it’s summertime. Any advance on what to put on my grass to start looking better besides water. Thanks
Welcome. The best thing to start using is a fertilizer. Since it's a new lawn, it sounds like you had sod installed? You should start with something like a 10-10-10. This symbolizes a starter fertilizer nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. This is a great start for a new lawn. Just make sure you don't over apply the fertilizer because you can damage the lawn. Read out the directions on how much to apply to lawn. Good luck 👍🏾

Much respect brother. Love your videos. Do You And Be You. I have a few brown patches and dollar spots. I bought the Bio Advanced Fungicide Hose Spray Today. Should I spray the spots or should I test watering the spots a little more? Much Love.
I use a regular blade. That's why I don't mulch as much because it doesn't do well with mulching the clippings up real fine compared to an actual mulching blade that is specifically designed for mulching. But it depends on what you like to do. If you like mulching your clippings, I suggest getting a mulching blade. If you only mulch, sometimes a regular blade will be fine.
Hi Darryl, ignore these people. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’ve helped me and I’m sure a lot of others tremendously. Hoping you have some insight on this: My lawnmower is cutting unevenly. I have it set to the highest setting which I think is 4 inches. I measured after cutting and some parts are 3 and even 2. It’s also taking off too much grass at once, my grass was about 6 inches because I repaired and over seeded the lawn so I hadn’t cut it for about 3 weeks. So it went from 6 to ~3 inches even with the mower set to 4 inches. I got my blades sharpened when the season started and I don’t remember seeing the person balancing the blades, I thought to say something but didn’t. Is it possible that the blades are unbalanced, can that cause the mower to cut unevenly? I also changed one of the tires at the same time. I find that I’m having a difficult time pushing the mower as well. For reference I live in NYC and have a mix of tall fescue and Kentucky blue grass. Thanks, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
It can definitely be that the blade is unbalanced, installed improperly, or could possibly be bent (damaged). Also, check the wheel you replaced. It might not match the other wheels in height.

Can I use this with my Milwaukee lawn mower?
Yes, if it's a 21-22 inch mower
If I understand correctly, you cut the grass, then attach the striper to press the grass. Is the mower running, or off?
Yes, I cut the grass first, especially when its overgrown to get the clean cut I want and then attach the striper and run the mower for the striping part. The matter what brand mower I have . As long as its a 21 inch for the Toro kit to work
Nope, the brand doesn't matter. This thing fits all 21 and 22 inch mowers, it's universal
