Honestly, "I don't want to force myself to do anything" is such a real thing to say. of course exceptions need to be made at times, but in work, in relationships...this statement is generally a great way to look out for yourself
I remember when Kelly didn't even have a dent on the Lorac blush. I admire her dedication to panning and not being wasteful with the makeup she purchases/receives.
I've used up 19 so far...but I included lip balms and lotions because I have an annoying habit of leaving a bunch half used. It's been so exciting finishing them up and getting rid of my skin care clutter. I have used up a few makeup items! I finished up two powders, an eyebrow pencil, and an eyeshadow primer.
Six! You actually have SIX products Kelly! The foundation, concealer, powder, cream blush, powder blush and the lip pencil (which I think you forgot to count). That's amazing progress! I think next year I'm going to try to project pan with you. I probably won't commit to 23 items LOL but I'm gonna try! I've built up a much larger makeup collection over the pandemic than I ever imagined I would own and now it can sometimes feel overwhelming. I'm learning how to focus in on the things I really like and enjoy and that work well for me (regardless of how popular they are on social media). You constantly inspire me to appreciate what is already in my collection instead of always chasing the new. ❤😊
The best way to see how much progress you have made on a liquid product (e.g. foundation) is to hold your phone flashlight against the backside of the bottle, the front side will tell you exactly how much product you have left (keep in mind that this only works if you store your products upright)
After a million years, I just finished Milani Luminoso! It will be interesting to see if you can finish the Lorac blush by the end of the year especially since it’s a great everyday blush and you have such good progress already.
Ok I know you say you don't like to highlight anymore but in this video your highlighter looks so nice, it suits you very much and compliments your look! You look so lovely 💕
I have been loving contouring too! With my skin's undertone, most bronzers pull orange and make me look sickly. I have been loving using the new Nyx contour stick under my powder to make it even more subtle. I am super fair and it has been literally the only product that has looked good in that aspect. Love love love contouring now lol!
These videos are so motivating! It's perfect timing for me too. I just decluttered, reorganized, clean some of my products and brushes and now set aside a capsule of makeup for September and trying to use up a powder and a foundation. I feel like I've been on an out of control spending spree, so now I'm on a no buy lol.
I was inspired by you and I've also been trying to use up 22 make up items before the end of the year! So far I'm at 13...just finished up a pan of matte beige eyeshadow today. Some of the items have been "minis" but a mini lipstick is still super hard. I think I'll be able to use up at least 9 more by the end of the year. Since I'm on a year long low-buy, I think that by then I'll have acquired less items than what I've decluttered or finished. That'll be the first time in years for me, haha.
I finished a concealer and a primer this week by emptying them into a small container and combining them into a lightweight base 🙂I have a foundation I'm barely using right now so I think I'll mix that with a moisturizer next!
I can’t believe how much of the highlighter you have used! I have a special place in my heart for that highlighter because it was my very first high end highlighter. Mine is OLD!!! I really need to get rid of it, however if I did I’d repurchase the product but in the mini size since I have way too many highlighters (one of my favorite products).
I have the kokie concealer too and it’s a never ending bottle!!!! I use it every single day and feel like it’s never going to run out 😂 I think it’s because it is so thin and I use it similarly to you where I only have a little bit each time
I’m excited to continue seeing the progress on your Lorac blush. I remember how happy you were when you hit pan, finishing it will be a huge accomplishment 😊
I remember you having tinge in the project and so excited to see your progress - I think you can finish all 5 of the items and its going to be so fun to follow you along! I finished a lipstick sample recently and am on the dregs of a lip pencil being done and its so satisfying to see the changes in things!
I find it so hard to pan makeup, but i do have a massive pan in my CT bronzer which i want to use up and then i will buy the refill and i use two lip pencils the CT iconic nude and ND in shade Natasha. I try and buy minis if i can because i love to try different makeup.
I don’t tend to highlight much anymore. I tend to use a glow product like the CT it the new elf Halo Glow and target certain spots and skip the powder highlight.
I love your highlighter and blush today. Shoutout to your nails as well. Gorgeous!! I love Pan Projects. I’m working on a Stick Foundation from Fashion Fare. I’m a 90s baby. My grandma says it’s not the same which is not. The shade I have is dark and don’t mix with Liquid Foundation or BB creams/CC Creams. AND THIS IS A OLD SCHOOL.. HIGH END BRAND!! My favorite & Holygrail: Wet N Wild & LYS, Huda etc. I don’t like this Stick Foundation and don’t wear it. So it’s a never say never for me 🤣🤣💀💀
I’ve totally gotten away from highlight and bronzer too. I’m interested in a more nude/brown leaning blush and I find it is so natural without the highlight or bronzer.
I have used just concealer all over the face a couple of days. Didn’t mean to but spot here and there then after blended out there was really no need for foundation. 😊
I finally finished my Mary Lou manizer!! I’ve had it prob since 2014 and like you my highlighter preferences have changed but man it feels good to finally finish it!
I enjoyed this progress report, Kelly! I, too, am trying to get through my Urban Decay Hydromaniac! I just really enjoy that product and find myself reaching for it again and again. Let's see if we can do it together! ;)
Paused at 1:29 - I'm guessing you are taking a break from the highlighter. I know it has been slow moving for you (those items just aren't as popular right now and most project panners I watch are struggling with those items too, myself included)
Omg you saying you dont wanna highlight that much and Im like but the intense highlight she has on looks so beautiful!!! ❤ what highlight did you have on?
@@KellyGooch you are absolutely right. I'm already doing it with skincare. I'm not buying any new products until I finish the ones I've been using. I just have to do the same with makeup. I can't use it all, yes I want to try new things, new formulas but it's too much. Thank you for the inspiration and support. I'm new here in your channel but I'm already a fan and really like your videos. Great content! 😍
I know I'm commenting a lot - but I have been told that it actually helps creators so sorry - not sorry lol I have completely stopped using concealer myself. I use the Becca color corrector under my eyes after my face primer and let it sit for a moment, then just bring my foundation all the way to my eyes. I no longer struggle with creasing at all and can use just a tiny bit of powder afterwards. It is a game changer.
@@KellyGooch Hold it upside down(the cap is at the top now), open it and then shake or tap gently onto a table to allow the foundation to settle in the bottom half of the tube. The upper half will now be filled with air. When you start squeezing it from the bottom, the air will come out first. Have you tried that? I have a primer in a very stubborn tube and it works every time.
Now this is just me but why is everyone going for the subtle look like I’m sorry I love a blinding highlight and a full coverage foundation I feel like people aren’t doing heavy glam anymore and it makes me sad like play with some color once and a while like you might as well not wear makeup if the minimalist way is the way to go just my opinion tho

That’s what I do! This foundation happens to have pretty thick packaging so it’s harder to see though
Haha I love when you mention the “Mary poppins” brow pencil! It was never ending

Agreed and she hit pan on her 2021 project pan
To get every last drop of liquid products in tubes of skincare or makeup, I use toothpaste squeezers! 🙂

Thank you, Maria!
I kinda stopped using intense highlighters too. I’m much more into a subtle glow 💚
Me too!
Yep! If I highlight, I use a cream or liquid product as they look more natural on the skin.

I thought you were gonna trade out the concealer. Love your ambition with the Lorac blush, no better time to do it than now.
You could try a small weight scale to track your progress with creams and liquids with packaging or formulas that are difficult to see.

Is the Highlighter 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i have one from Catrice i can't, i simply can't, i don't use so muchhhh , i like more subtle touch or nothing at all 🤣🤣🤣

I've been putting on such a minuscule amount of concealer, I think my singular current concealer is going to last me for the next 5 months 😂
i feel like you have just uploaded your project pan plan for 2022 yesterday and it's already September....
I definitely need to do something like this. I'm buying new products more and more and I never finish none of them!

Why don't you squeeze the air out of that foundation just like you did with the Glossier blush? That would certainly tell you how much you have left.
The packaging won’t allow you to squeeze it down without pushing all of the product out!
