When I worked at Subway I did two things people loved. The first one was I wrapped the sub separate after cutting it in half and the other I would cut the tomatoes in half unless they wanted wholes ( most of the time they didn't because it's so much easier to eat with them in half) I got so many COMPLIMENTS and TIPS for just doing these two things. I would have people ask for me if it was my day off and if I was not there they would walk away. Its crazy how two small things can get you so much love.
The cutest thing I have ever seen: one time I was in a Walmart just minding my own business. I hear the whirr of an electric mobility scooter behind me, so I step to the side. A woman who looked to be in her 80s was driving. I thought nothing of it so I continued looking through the shelves. Then I notice that there was a wooden wagon with what looked to be the woman’s husband riding in the back. He had a huge smile on his face. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen, and I will never forget that moment.
We at Subway, actually do have a sandwich called Taco Beef. It comes with Doritos chips and Sriracha sauce. Not sure or other countries sell it too, but we sell it (The Netherlands) 😂
Instead of "Ma'am, this is a Wendy's" moment, I was working drive thru at Taco Bell and this elderly man came through asking for only a frosty. I thought he was joking as I asked if he wanted fries with that (it was the time the nacho fries first came out, too) . Confused, he went to the drive through. I told him this was Taco Bell. Poor old man looked like he was about to cry from embarrassment. And I felt like the world's biggest butt for "going along with the joke." I had drunk college kids come through the same night right before the old man pretending to order whoppers. Bad timing for both of us!
“Well it actually wasn’t the other day, this was like 2 and a half years ago” Damn this guy gets so invested in his sandwich making that years are going by like days
