- Hello everybody! Please adjust the volume to your desire, as my voice is louder than usual.
Apologies for my cat Charles, he likes to intrude and wreck things when I am not giving him attention. You are indeed in a Home Doctors Office with a cat.
I am not a real doctor at all, and this me acting in a role play situation. If you feel the need you need to get checked out, make an appointment with your real Doctor.
I have exciting news, but before I let you know, this is the long awaited Cranial Nerve Examination role play I have been meaning to get out to you guys for a few months. I am not entirely happy with the content, as I had to rush at the end to make the cut to the end of filming. However, I hope you enjoy it regardless.
My exciting news is my gracious man has bought me a binaural mic for Christmas and I am looking forward to using it in future videos. At this time, I am unable to use it, as I am trying to get used to it and also learn how to collaborate it in sync with my camera. Saying that, I hope I can bring out videos with just noise that can crinkle you all to sleep.
It will involve a lot of doctor role plays and other types of role playing.

I can't reply to your comment properly CreativeGuy, but I am not in a personal profession, but I do it based on research. My Father works in the health industry, so he has a lot of books at my parents house which helps a lot, and I also research actual cranial examinations on here, to get some tips.

I thought it was brilliant of you, just in the beginning when you were asking questions like what day is today etc, you did not necesserily write them, all you did was you made some ticks on your paper and moved your hand a little bit. And for some reason that was such an interesting relaxing bit that I never seen before for 3 years of watching asmr vids. Intentional or not, I thank you for that experience

I've been wanting a good asmr role play where there's a lot of making faces and directions. This was really nice for that, but I'd love if you could do something like "facial muscles check" if that exists. I don't think anyone has done something like that and it would be awesome in your accent and your personality.

That kind of answer might get you longer in hospital too, hah :P I can never write the date, like EVER, without having to ask someone what the date is, my memory is always just poor anyway.
Oh, haha I can imagine being asked that. you may be right about the length of hospital time for that, or maybe a prison sentence depending which words you choose to select about that certain person or persons (whichever country you live in).
You and me seem to be in the same boat. I actually had to ask the date yesterday when I went for an Interview to study this year.
I also tend to stutter a lot, so that isn't wise when I am on the phone to a stranger.
I think there is something wrong with your sound settings. The volume turns up and down depending on the background noise. It sounds like some kind of dynamic compression..

In this video, it is meant to be a Scottish accent. In real life I am English, with a couple of accents mixed in from travelling, I think ha ha :)

(No hate) Tbh your Scottish accent isn't that bad, very stereotypical but not bad. However if everyone I was around everyday sounded like this it would be quit worrying.
The thing that you have to try and master to actually sound Scottish is actually pronounce every word properly like but.. but has a u, so we don't say bit. The trick is only pronouncing t if it is at the beginning of a word or (sometimes at the end.) But please. Never role your rs as much as people in cartoons and stuff do.

Nobody has asked me :) Requests I have received have generally been to speak in a normal tone. I may do a whisper one at some stage.
How is that asmr doe? I thought relaxing hushed tones and movements were fundamental to asmr.
Christopher Martin They can be fundamental, but it depends on what preference you prefer. Other's don't feel the same way when somebody is whispering compared to talking normal or in a soft voice, and vice versa. I should really cater for everybody, but nobody has asked, so I haven't done any whispering role plays. If you want, then I can, but generally speaking like I said, requests I have emailed to me, are talking in a normal voice or a bit softer.
