but I have heard so many times about how people experience ASMR in their life when a teacher quietly goes over a test over your shoulder!!! So I wanted to emulate that! Hopefully I wasn’t too wrong in my teaching 😅

Ikr in grade school and jr high I had buddies who were on the football team always be rude and super loud I'd be like hey guys chill and shutup the rest of us can't hear the teacher 🙄 omg

@@overthetopdevito7503 yes they really are they were just being class clowns during class but not on the field well cuz of course (just like remember the titans or any other sports film) the coaches will get on your ass then you have to do laps or something else as a kid I played soccer you had to be quick if not then sorry but you were let go by the coach (it's not like now where videos get put out to show the world: hey look how they treated my kid im Sueing you and this school) no one wants to be sued

I’m Dutch so English isn’t my native language. This 35 minute video taught me more and made me understand the English grammer better than my 6 years of English at school did when I was younger. Thank you so much Gibi!! ❤️

Anyone else get that tingly satisfied feeling when your teacher is explaining something to you, while flipping through the textbook on your desk? Happened to me all throughout elementary school
The glossy but thin texture and sound of the textbook pages and the focus that teachers would have when flipping through them was definitely part of my ASMR-without knowing-it experience growing up.
wayy past elementary for me lol all of my teachers throughout my years of school were always nice and knew what they were doing
THIS! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!! It made me feel like I was being cared for which made me happy.
When other kids helped me in elementary I got the same feeling lol
AND THEN BECAUSE YOU WERE SO DISTRACTED BY THE TINGLY FEELING, YOU COMPLETELY FORGOT WHAT THE TEACHER WAS EXPLAINING TO YOU, YET YOU STILL TURN TO THEM "yep! understood!"
gibi always has our back. she not only makes sure we sleep well but also checks that our grammar is on point

This got me so relaxed that I was literally half sleeping when I realized that I was replying every time Gibi asked if I understood as if she was a real teacher.
I know these videos aren’t as popular but I LOVE these. The school worksheets or physical tests are very calming to me

I truly salute you; I struggle with just one language, I'm too dense to get my head around using two or more.
Do you think natively or in the language you are speaking?
I'm truly in awe of anyone who can speak / read / learn more than one language.
@@RawTopShot I think in the language I'm speaking, cause at the beginning I actually tried to think in Italian 🇮🇹 (my mother tongue) and translating it to English in real time inside my head, but it didn't worked, it was way to slow, probably cause there are to many differences between the two languages, especially in the way you put sentences together, the order of the words, some Italian words don't even exists in English and vice versa, so it's way faster and easier to think in the language you're actually speaking in my opinion, and switching from one to the other is actually pretty fast and easy as well 😊.
@@RawTopShot i know the question wasnt for me but i wanted to answer anyway :). i speak polish (native) and english fluently; when im at school, i talk in polish obvi so i think in that tounge too, however when im alone, im reading books and stuff i think in english bc its fun and its something that i have to use all the time on social media. i also speak german and russian a bit but im not good so i never think in those languages :)

gibi even included the writing-things-out-for-you which was my biggest comfy trigger whenever teachers explained things to me because it made me feel pampered and cared for, especially when i felt lost
i have autism so my time in school was not great, this is so heartwarming and comforting to me because it's so in depth and personal. thank you for being the kind human you are Gibi❤️❤️ much love

the fact i’m in high school and i was getting things wrong. it was actually making me so mad that i couldn’t fall asleep 💀
When I was younger I remember my teacher teaching me something. And her voice was soo soothing that I understood her teaching perfectly. But soon later she left the school because she was diagnosed with cancer. I don't know where she is today but I hope she is in good health and happy

I love this POV! It also reminds me of a different POV, where you're sitting across from someone else receiving help from the teacher, and you still get this unintentional ASMR feeling. This video was very relaxing and brought back so many great memories for me

it’s weird to think that my first introduction to asmr was gibi during the summer after 8th grade. i instantly fell in love with asmr and gibi’s role plays, it was like nothing i’d ever felt. it really helped me get through some rough times. i’m now a freshman in college and still listen to a gibi’s videos every day. thank you for getting me through highschool.
My introduction ASMR video was actually Gibi's among us roleplay :D
my first introduction to asmr was this girl who i don't think spoke english who had really long nails and she played with slime and she also had a cat
My first time watching gibi was the summer after 7th grade; I start my second year of college in the fall. Time goes by so fast ☹️
the level of big brain that went into putting out content that isnt only tingly but potentially incredibly helpful to the younger audience is beautiful
when i was in hs i had this teacher who had the most relaxing voice, i felt super sleepy whenever she’d explain the work to me, so i’d always call her over even tho i understood everything…..

It's easy to act a teacher, it's another to deal with snotnosed teenagers, or bratty Kids who go out of their way to be difficult. Makes it very hard for them to keep any patience left to deal with students who need genuine help.

i actually REALLY like when the teacher would go over a test like this. give a easy explanation of what the question is asking tell me the answer and tell me why thats the answer.
theeen i can pick it up and do any other question of the same kind.
but just telling me oh 2b = 8 doesn't do anything.
2 x ( this number ) equals 8. what is this number? 4 so the answer is 4 because 4+4=8. basic algebra question. but unless you understand the terminology for things you can't do the problems so when teacher just threw a buncha words at you and expect you to figure it out....

as an ESL teacher feeling stressed at the beginning of the school year I very much appreciate both grammatical explanations AND good night sleep! I'd definitely recommend my students to watch this to brush off their grammar skills (hope they won't fall asleep in the process 😊)

I think Gibi would make an awesome teacher because there are a lot of teachers nowadays that don't actually care if the students learn or not and just want the paycheck. Teacher Gibi is a real role model for teachers today. She is so sweet and patient and actually cares about her students' education. I love you Gibi! ❤❤❤
