Are 2 APT connectors enough to provide a post to beam connection or will additional uplift or racking protection be required assuming normal conditions?
any recommendations for a non-90 degree post-beam connection? i.e., a beam that is horizontal, but meets with another beam at a non 90 degree angle at the post when viewed from above.

If I'm picturing correctly what you're describing, simple flat straps would secure the post and beam.

The product names are so confusing
I'd wager that engineers named them.
I know somebody who built their deck and they notched the beans. And I didn't think that was a good way to build a deck with Notches
