They should make the minigames easier. Its kinda a problem when someone has been playing a game for 20 years (like you) and they say things like "yeah, this one is kinda broken, it took me two hours earlier"

8:40 I guess I don't mind the minigames with multliple difficulty levels so much as the fact that the required effort for the bananas in the game is wildly inconsistent, with a few that are basically free, with others where you have to do a puzzle or challenge and a minigame barrel on top of that. I feel like they could have replaced a few of the easier ones with minigame barrels and just given you a banana by itself after any major puzzle.
The Diddy thing with the Scooby Doo trap is the only thing that I remember that needs the Zoom function. Donkey with the targets also at least will be helpful with Zoom but I think that just helps.
The Rocket Barrel music may not be fitting for Creepy Castle, but it may be the most fun stage to fly around in, given how much open space and height there is.
I remember as a kid I would avoid as much as possible on DK Isles so that after Creepy Castle I would get all of it at once. It felt like an extra level because of how spread out everything is.
Yup, Nick has it right. You can just hit them in the wrong order after getting the golden banana and it'll still let you open up those side coffin things.
I think he did, in this episode. (The balloons are easy to miss even with the zoom, since they move.) Edit: If you're talking about point-blank... good luck, there's only so many episodes.
I might be wrong but I feel like you only play each minigame 2-3 times really throughout the let's play, as of this part and all parts before, I can't think of a minigame you played 4 or more times.
21:03 - "Enough justifying why I've been delaying stuff" but how can you justify delaying a Tiny thumbnail!? Also I've been thinking K. Rool's island in this game is Crocodile Isle this whole time, and some sources agree, but the official name of its music seems to be Krem Isle. I mean it's not even an actual island, it's a machine! Crocodile Isle was a natural island.
yeah biggest drawback of this game is its extremely repetitive, which yes is the nature of a Collectathon but this game is noticeably bad about it. Like i said before this game feels like a prototype that lead up to BanjoKazooie...but it came out between BK1 and BK2. I know this game had a notorious bug that plagued the developers for a long time but i wonder what else caused this game to sorta lack in development. IMO this is the weakest Rare N64 game (that im aware of), and considering most of the outright amazing N64 games are made by Rare that still means the game is good.

Me and my brother hated that beaver mini game and how you have to do the DK arcade twice. I still never beat the final boss it's all that's left.
I wish they would have made more in-game challenges instead of relying so much on mini-games to begin with.

Will Tiny finally get a Thumbnail?
Find out next time on ScykohPlays
Try pressing the jump button as soon as you land as diddy.
There are a few minigames not much to choose
So then what happens if you chimpy charge the numbered buttons in the correct order? Are those goodies behind the doors just gone forever?
If u do that in the correct order it spawns the golden banana,u can hit the numbers in a incorrect order right after and still get the goodies
