The first 20+ second intro with the different colored designs is nice. I also like your cutting in. I usually start flush to the frame but your standoff of 3-5" will probably work better. I am a righty but I use my left hand as much as possible. I am putting a lot of effort into becoming an ambidextrous WC, as there are many situations during which it is much more efficient to squeegee with my left hand. Much thanks from Malcolm, aka HBM @ the WCR forum.

Commercial glass cleaned often means you can soap the window half an inch from the top thereby not having to wipe the top and not having to worry about drips. Especially when doing pole work. This guy soaped to the top because he is being thorough because this is a tutorial. In practice you don't generally get as much for commercial property as you do for residential because they want a price break for regular cleanings.

So, I've struggled with the fanning technique ever since I started my business. I've been using straight pulls exclusively, just because I couldn't figure out how to do the fanning method...until today! I watched your video and then went outside and fanned my son's bedroom window for an hour! Thanks for the video!

A tip: use no more than a 45 degree squeegeeing, with the exception of cutting in and closing out. This reduces turn marks and gets any made.

Thanks for the great detailed video. I'm been referencing it a lot since I started window cleaning for my friends business 3 months ago. Something I've really been struggling with that I can't find much information on is getting a little tail or trail of water at the top of the squeegee blade as you are making passes. When the water evaporates it will leave a little faint arc on the window of soap residue. It happens to me frequently but not consistently. I've tried playing with different variables like speed, pressure, and angle, but I've never figured out exactly what's causing it. It can happen right after I change my rubber too, so I don't think it's a rubber wear issue. If you have any suggestions on how to remedy this I would be most greatful as it's been really stressing me out as I try to get my technique down.

Check out videos on TH-cam of using the applicator and squeegee in tandem with each other, takes practice but is a good technique so window doesn't dry and good for saving time. Moerman also sell a tool called the combinator you should check out. Pickingpaul1 has good videos using that tool.

Can anybody help? I need a tip or an idea on cleaning old roll up garage doors glass with 1 to 4 years dirt build up. The problem is the seals are very bad or gone all together and the water drips out after several 5 to 15 minutes later. I know about using less water but haven't been able to achieve stopping the delayed dripping. How would you do them? Signed . Desperate.

This guy is thin with good mobility so his shoulders and arms do most of the work. If you have mobility issues you can do less arm and shoulder movements if you walk with the squeegee in a more fixed position. Maybe they will do a video on this someday.

Just like in our industry a cheaper price comes with some type of sacrifice. They stand behind what they sell of something is not right they will work hard to fix it. eBay can't come close to the service you get with WCR.
