while rationalizing we take conjugate of denomenator but u have taken numerators conjugate ..why?

Mam, in x^3 -sinx by x sum , can't we take x common in numerator and cancel it so as we get x^2 -sinx/x and will get the same ans-1 ?
Is this method is correct?
