Some people might be into digital stuff, but I'm the type of guy who's life turns around needles.

The new one doesn’t have the number markers going all the way around if I’m not mistaken.
I wonder the difference between the new and older model?

That digital gauge is nice and a great idea. That gauge has been out for a while. It should have never been put on the new guns. They had to know that that thing eats up batteries.
I have 2 that I need to chance out.

Eats batteries like nothing! Hey thanks for commenting and have fun switching them out, it could be worse!

Hi from the Netherlands. I think you have an "older version" of the digital Edgun gauge. You can check this by the way you have to put in the battery. Is the battery loose in the housing or do you have a plastic retainer that holds the battery? If the battery is loose, you need to ask Brian (or where you bought the gauge from) to put in this part. It fixes the problem. Where you reffering to the rechargable Sekhmet? I had 3 off those and all 3 died within a few months ;-)

It has the plastic retainer. It holds it in there good, so much so that I need a pic to get the battery out. It’s weird sometimes I’ll have a battery that lasts two or three weeks but most times the battery only last a week or less.
Thanks for commenting it means a lot! Stay safe over there.

Just curious what brand of battery you are using. I had some issues with some "off brand" batteries I had purchased on Amazon running down extremely quick. When I finally with them out with a big name brand the issue was resolved. This may not be the case just curious. As far as that goes I belive your decision to swap out the unit to an analog meter was the right decision based on your use case. Not as much cool factor but the function of having it when you really need it outweigh style, Simple case of function over form. Thanks for making this and your other content. I would be interested in knowing your opinion/comparison of the favorite or all the air rifles you own and have used extensively. Likes/Dislikes/quibbles/ratting on 1 to 10 for each as well would you buy them again and what you might opt for next knowing what you know and what you researched. You seem to have a really good straight forward no bs approach. Subscribed. Thanks for sharing.

The battery brand is Duracell. Some batteries last longer than others.
As far as favorite air rifles goes, this is my first and only pcp at the moment. So it is my favorite. I do have other break barrels, and Co2 but this L2 is my favorite. Sorry for the late response but thanks for watching and commenting!

@@Reviewbuddy296 Thanks for the reply. I was REALLY hoping you were using off branded batteries... LOL as your answer reveals a MAJOR flaw in their design or choice of equipment/gauge. Makes one question the other choices they made in the design/engineering/construction as well. Thanks again!
