- This totally ruined our anniversary and everything we had planned. It felt like the worst day ever in the moment but it definitely turned around! be here on Thursday and we will go over how it all got fixed.

exactly, unfortunately roads that arent taken care of properly can really cause a lot of damage. and that stupid bump blended in so perfectly to the road its so hard to see :(

Hunter always stays so calm and cool. He’s very mature and responsible. Next time, make sure you always have enough water and snacks especially for poor Milo!
yeah we definitely didn't expect to get caught in that situation but it wasn't definitely a good lesson for the future. Luckily we had multiple bottles of water and gave it to MIlo before ourselves but not enough for 9 hours in the hot sun...
Also guys...your anniversary is celebrating each other which life presented to you....to be together, to weather the storms of life, TOGETHER and that's the recipe to a union that can celebrate an Anniversary ... Stay blessed!
As a trucker, sometimes we have to sit 8 to 12 hours waiting for a repair or tow truck. Thank God we have sleepers(beds,with multi cig outlets)🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚

I've learned the saying "what doesnt kill you. Makes you stronger" is true. Each experience in life becomes a memory in your web. When bad things pull you together because you rely on each other then your relationship grows.

Awesome story. I actually just drove through west Texas on a moving trip back to Austin and we almost got stranded with no gas and no cell phone signal in the middle of the night on I-10 just this past weekend. There are some parts where there's no station for over 50 miles. That was pretty nerve-racking. I'm glad you made it through though and in great spirits given the circumstances. I have a 3 as well and one thing I can suggest is look at getting 18" wheels/tires instead of the 20's with the low profile tires. You will be able to handle a lot more pot holes without issues. This is why I wish they would bring back the Stealth Performance.

9 hours on the side of the road…. I can’t even imagine. That y’all were able to at least chuckle at the end of it. I would’ve been beyond … I don’t even know. That kind of service infuriates me in the best of circumstances, so in that serious of a situation , it would not have been pretty.

This will be a moment to laugh at years from now or at least a memorable moment on future anniversaries. When I was 20 I called myself cooking oven baked ribs for my now husband (we’re 39 now) and I didn’t have any barbecue sauce. I improvised and used cream of mushroom and it was NOT good. Needless to say, my boo ate them and didn’t complain, but we still joke about it to this day! 🥰
So glad nothing happened that wasn't fixable. Everyone you care about is still alive and healthy. Also a lot of people care about you two, if you had went live I'm sure someone would have helped you out... I know I would have. Much love and many blessings to you both. I am glad you both are ok. I am from Texas and lived in Colorado Springs. If you drive again there on vacation never let the gas tank fall below half a tank. When leaving Texas don't stop in Stateline Texas. Keep driving 23 more miles to New Mexico.
I can relate. We went home to NJ in November to see my Mom. We had to call our Roadside insurance for help when our starter died in the middle of Texas. Luckily, we found a Dodge dealership an hour away. We had to then wait another hour for the "so-called" a new starter to be put in so we could continue. e had to take our Siamese kitten and Schnauzer out of the car and try to control them in the Service Center. No fun what so ever. But you survived. Hugs
