As a truck driver people laughed at me because i drive one of these to work...but at the end of the day I'm proud of doing it cause I've saved so much money on gas and it's just fun to ride it...i love this little scooter.
I just ordered my Roadrunner Pro! Should be here first week of April. I’m in Northern Michigan so should be just in time for snow to melt! I used your code and got $50 off! Thank you sir!! I’ll keep you posted on how I like it.
Seems pretty cool. A rack would help out your life as a delivery person, for sure. The bigger full suspension definitely makes it attractive over the regular Roadrunner. Even at speeds both can do, I’d be a little worried of a sneaky bump killing you at 30 on the regular one. Some bumps don’t look like anything when you see them, but they end up bouncing you like crazy.
“Killing you” is an expression, and the comment is specifically about seeing the bump but it being worse than it looked like, which happens. Suspension helps.
Watching this video gave me a good idea of how comfortable the roadrunner might be for a full sized adult. Damn it. You've got my inner child chatting away in my head with all the reasons it's a good idea. and how finding and paying for storage or a garage won't be very expensive. It ain't coming up the stairs to the apartment. It's clearly got power and seems to be well put together.
I hear you! Make sure you check out our Facebook group Emove Roadrunner new users and mods ,I’ll teach you everything you need to know about the vehicle good and bad. I’ve got 300 miles on mine and it’s doing very good!
Oh & watching this vid made me reminisce about the Segway C80 that I had for about a week & returned a week ago. It was a dream to deliver with! The delivery business is so bad that I couldn't make enough to pay for it's monthly.
I did pick up the second iteration of the roadrunner with your code and am very happy with it. Incredible fun and utility, solves the "last mile problem." Been doing almost all my errands on it. Would absolutely recommend.
Good episode! I am betting the max speed on it will be 55 to 60 mph. Happy to see you recovered from your injuries and are doing much better now. Wish you continued success and safe travels.
@@yogadude1234 That is awesome! I'm definitely a metal-head, love Megadeath too! I grew up listening to all of that cause of my dad, classic rock and roll too, I was born in 92 lol.
Steve that road runner is sick! Man I want one so bad. Definitely using your links if I get one. All right I’m going to continue watching the video my friend. By the way I have watched all the other previous videos, but just didn’t have time to comment. So I got you on views no worries, let the ads play a little bit ha ha ha got you
You nailed it again, Yogi Steve!! Awesome video! Watched them all and picked up an OG Roadrunner for my kid two weeks ago. He ripped 42 miles on the flat glass streets of Phoenix on Saturday and still had power left over in the box! I've been waiting for this vid on the Pro, considering it, so I can chase him around the city on it. Great job, again and definitely dropping ESA upon ordering!
This looks worth while. I would suggest an electric rear-view screen and never-go flat tires. E-bike are just too big . This mini bike format serves a purpose and looks to have fewer alignment issues, yet big enough for comfort and visibility. It's nearly perfect and handles pretty shetty roads. I would name mine the 'Stealth Zephyr'. not for those who lisp.
Yogi! Just got the RR Pro to design aftermarket parts people want/need. Anything you can think of that it needs that the market hasn’t provided owners. Just joined your group. Thanks for all you do.
hello, awesome! I think right now people are most interested in better front forks for the Pro- the rear suspension upgrade was easy to find an relatively cheap - thanks for joining the group. There are plenty of smart people on there.
I will be promoting The Blue Man Group at The LUXOR in my Vegas with my Escooter/Wheelchair blue lights Bad Boy!! I get a Blue Man Bucket hat and Advertising on the back of the wheelchair and flyers to hand out.
If Voro is smart they would send you another battery for all the free advertising your doing. It does say Roadrunner Pro down the side of it. It needs a rear rack for your bag. What would be cool is if it was quick detach.
I looked up the scooter when you were mentioning it in a previous video. It looks like a nice little ride. If I had the extra cash and space, I’d totally get one just to go bombing down Hollywood Blvd early in the morning. Are scooters allowed up through Runyon Canyon?? I’d take it up there, get some 360° footage.
technically, I think we're breaking all types of laws once we go faster than 15 mph. That being said I don't think California really cares I take it everywhere! Lol.
I've been waiting for an upgrade to the original roadrunner and man am I excited for this! Definitely buying one. Two sinewave controllers, save a workout on your wrist and ease in to that acceleration for longer range yogi, its not a dualtron :D Much love from Wisconsin.
What’s up Steve, just thought I’d say hi. That seems to be a pretty cool road runner but I’ll stick with a dualTron stome since it’s difficult for me to sit down.
No mirrors and no turn signals really make me nervous on the roads. The escooters I've been on don't let me use hand signals because I don't feel safe letting off the handlebars
I would probably be really interested in upgrading to road runner pro. Only concern I have is it looks very low to the ground. Is visibility a concern for you? How long do you think the government will treat battery vehicles like mopeds and motorcycles, as in requiring special licenses and license plates?
every area is different. I will check local laws and whether or not the cops are actually applying them. Yes, it is low to the ground but that's the danger on these things.
They must understand the necessity of having the biggest, badass battery. This battery is nice but it needs to be even bigger so having 2 batteries will actually allow deliveries all day long.
“All that work and no tip?” I hate when people do that, I know money is tight but if it’s that tight.. please pick your order up yourself. I live pay check to check, but when I get delivery I always make sure I tip the driver.
Hey Yogi Steve I just ordered my Roadrunner pro today and I used your promo code ElectricScooterAcademy for $50 off. Thanks! I definitely want to upgrade my Roadrunner with the off road tires like you did but don't know the correct tire size. Are the rims 10 inch?
Awesome thanks for using the code! You’re talking about tires for your first generation RR ? I’m not exactly sure about the rim size. Your best bet is to ask on Facebook group Emove Roadrunner new users and mods - it was really difficult put in the off-road tires on mine. I actually resorted to keep in the originals on. Some guys on the group have done it though so I’ll check it out and ask them. 😎
Steve i really enjoyed riding my DT Thunder for the past year and now they Banned all Ebikes ,Escooters in my Building which is a total Bs . Btw i live in NYC ....
do you know the more I ride it the more I realize I don't really need to lean forward that much. So far it's been pretty good on my back! I'm looking forward to more shifts on it.
You have the option single or dual but I don’t see anybody really using single mode for any reason other than limping home on low battery. It’s debatable but I don’t believe in using single motor. I don’t think it’s more energy efficient It just creates drag.
I have purchased this item and I'm not gonna lie it's a great item the only problem is the company Vora is not a reliable company they are taking your money and they do not have the inventory to sell you the item that they say they're going to sell you I spent $1500 and it took months to get part of it and then the other part gets refunded I would recommend going to a more reliable company like segway
I understand it can be frustrating! I guess the issue is this is a brand new vehicle so often times they have supply issues in the early stages. if you buy a product they've had in stock for more than six months they generally have plenty of inventory as backup. So if I needed replacement parts for my Wolf King or Mantis King GT or Emove cruiser they generally will have that in stock. I will tell you though personally I almost never rely on the dealership for parts. I source almost everything in the aftermarket you can usually get slightly better quality. I already got tires for the scooter from monsterscooter.com. that were a really good deal.
yeah, to be honest I am getting addicted to sitting down so I can't wait to add some more battery. It'll be good for a full shift. In the meantime I'm running doubles on different vehicles every day anyhow just to make videos.
No mainly because I don’t want to have to deal with license registration insurance. Main thing I like about these PEV’s you can semi stay off the grid. .
@Electric Scooter Academy yes I saw that but wasn't sure if it was the same bag. How long have you had your roadrunner pro? Have you experienced any problems with it? I saw a different review video and they were riding it and noticed a noise coming from somewhere on the bike but they didnt show what the problem was.
Quick question with all the riding you do on different e-bikes and scooters, using the quad lock as your phone mount had you gotten any camera damage on your phone like shakey pictures or anything?
Quadlock sells a vibration dampener, which I highly recommend. Already messed my camera with the phone sitting on motorcycle handlebars, $200 repair...
I cannot wait to order the Pro, so I'll be ordering a regular this weekend and use your code. You're videos are great, probably around summer I'll want to sell it and upgrade to a Pro and I'll use your code again. I'm going to use mine to deliver pizzas so your videos are perfect to show how it'll work for me. If Voromotor' watches this video and see's my comment. This is just a suggestion, but IMHO it would make more sense if the coupon code was a % off not a set amount. I mean I'll get $50 off on the $1,395 RR I'm about to order. And when I order a Pro, which is basically double the price, I'll save the same amount. Which doesn't make sense to me. I'm not saying it should be twice as much, but it should be more. And if I somehoe end up ordering a Tronic I'm really still saving only $50 on a scooter that's over 3x the price of the base model? lol. I'm not complaining, just making an observation as I'm going to order a Pro come summer regardless of only saving $50, saving something is better than nothing.
as a general rule I only use a single motor mode if I'm limping home on a low battery. I just don't see any use for it otherwise. But not having the other motor on it just creates drag it doesn't even make it more fuel efficient.
The only thing is you cannot beat standing up. You get a much better sense of speed when you're standing up versus sitting down, standing up is where its at. When's every single time especially on these crazy high end scooters
No one mentions how much the battery weighs. I feel this would be important for people trying load this in a truck or car as it's removable and it could make it significantly easier to lift. If it's still too much their is always the og roadrunner. These things would make awesome pit bikes.
I think we don't mention the weight because I don't really consider them easily swappable I'm sure the battery is very heavy, though they always are. I will be adding a smaller secondary battery probably 10 or 15 A that'll make a big difference.
The main reason I stopped doing deliveries on my scooter is because my phone would overheat and close all my apps while in the middle of a delivery.. Gps maps, delivery app and music app... How do you keep your phone from overheating?
Somebody from a hot climate simply recommend that you throw your T-shirt over it. That worked pretty well for me. Worst case scenario I would put it in my pocket while driving.
Doing head checks is far more reliable than mirrors when riding a bike, the mirrors are so small that you have a lot more blind spots and a lulled into a false sense of security.
And for the price point the pro blows the super 73 and aerial rider out of the rider, because it has a 31 Amp and 45mph top speed, 73 only can do 31mph and 19amp batter but 500 dollars more.
@@yogadude1234 It looks too much like a kid's mini-bike, especially not having signals or a taillight (that I could see anyway). Adding battery capacity seems to be a must. Not bad for a freebie though!
yes it will. You're gonna put a lot of pressure on it though and you're probably gonna need to upgrade the rear shocks at a minimum they were will bottom out easily at 270. it's not that expensive an upgrade. I'm only 190 and I upgraded mine just for a better ride.
As a truck driver people laughed at me because i drive one of these to work...but at the end of the day I'm proud of doing it cause I've saved so much money on gas and it's just fun to ride it...i love this little scooter.

The only thing is you cannot beat standing up. You get a much better sense of speed when you're standing up versus sitting down, standing up is where its at. When's every single time especially on these crazy high end scooters
I ended up getting a second battery for mine
Price on the 2nd battery?
for your Pro? nice!
Does it get uncomfortable leaning forward so much throughout the ride?
No cause the better I got at riding the easier it got to sit up straight pretty much at any speed.
@@yogadude1234 ahh, I see. Thank you
Steve what is the stock battery for the scooter?
60v 30AH LG brand
@@yogadude1234 👌🏽
Awesome fam 💪
No one mentions how much the battery weighs. I feel this would be important for people trying load this in a truck or car as it's removable and it could make it significantly easier to lift. If it's still too much their is always the og roadrunner. These things would make awesome pit bikes.
I think we don't mention the weight because I don't really consider them easily swappable I'm sure the battery is very heavy, though they always are. I will be adding a smaller secondary battery probably 10 or 15 A that'll make a big difference.
Hey can you tell me what the seat height is Voro doesn’t have it listed? Thanks in advance.
yes, I'll quick measurement by hand the seat is about 30 inches from the ground
The main reason I stopped doing deliveries on my scooter is because my phone would overheat and close all my apps while in the middle of a delivery.. Gps maps, delivery app and music app... How do you keep your phone from overheating?
Somebody from a hot climate simply recommend that you throw your T-shirt over it. That worked pretty well for me. Worst case scenario I would put it in my pocket while driving.
@@yogadude1234 I need it out for navigation tho
@@jmomoney1 I understand, but it's not so hard to glance at the directions and go from there
Do you need a liciense
Doing head checks is far more reliable than mirrors when riding a bike, the mirrors are so small that you have a lot more blind spots and a lulled into a false sense of security.
Does the pizza bag fit the pro?
Yeah, not perfectly but it fits
And for the price point the pro blows the super 73 and aerial rider out of the rider, because it has a 31 Amp and 45mph top speed, 73 only can do 31mph and 19amp batter but 500 dollars more.
Correction top speed is 54mph on the roadrunner pro!!
I can see my local cops having a field day pulling this thing over. The range is a deal killer too.
Yeah, certain states this looks too much like a motorcycle. Hundred percent adding battery to it that’s gonna be sweet.
@@yogadude1234 It looks too much like a kid's mini-bike, especially not having signals or a taillight (that I could see anyway). Adding battery capacity seems to be a must. Not bad for a freebie though!
Im 270 pounds 5/8 in height
Will this ebike handles me
yes it will. You're gonna put a lot of pressure on it though and you're probably gonna need to upgrade the rear shocks at a minimum they were will bottom out easily at 270. it's not that expensive an upgrade. I'm only 190 and I upgraded mine just for a better ride.
They should of used an adjustable shocks on the back
