- He is our pride, our honour, our treasure. He is our Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. He wrote two brilliant memoirs but we can get to know about his life, relationships very dear to him through his dramas, stories, novels, poems, songs and his letters as well. He was a master craftsman in writing letters.
This Video depicts his relationship with his Notun Bouthakuran, Kadambari Devi-- the relationship he treasured all throughout his life with reverence and fondness.
It had been a painstaking effort and we need to know your valuable opinions.
Please know about the life of Tagore from his writings as he wrote about his life in so fascinating manner with huge dollops of comic tone. Infact, memoirs he created have historical values too.
We believe, his own writings and the books published by BISWABHARATI should specifically be taken into account, rather than certain notes that are available in the market regarding Rabindranath Tagore and his Notun Bouthakuran.
It's our TRIBUTE to Rabindranath Tagore on his 159th Birth Anniversary.

We needed this video. Rabindranath Tagore and his relationship with some of his closest relatives needed to be explained by dint of his writing in two of his most well-written memoirs. They are historically important too.
Need more such good and informative contents when there is dearth of the same.
(১) রবীন্দ্রনাথ'কে আমি জানি ধর্ষন-কাম সম্পন্ন করা একজন হিসেবে।
সে তাঁর বড় ভাই-এর বউ-এর সাথে অকাম করেছিল।
এর পরে সেই বড় ভাই-এর বউ, কাদম্বিনী দেবী শোকে ও দুঃখে আত্মবির্ষন
দিয়ে সেই গঞ্জনা থেকে বেঁচে গিয়েছিলেন।
(২) রবীন্দ্রনাথ বাংলাদেশে জমিদারী করেছিলেন।
তখন বাংলাদেশের জনগনের বৃহত্তর স্বার্থে কোন অর্থ নৈতিক
উন্নয়নকারী কোন কর্মকান্ড তাঁর অবদানের কোণ ইতিহাস
তাঁর সময়ে পাওয়া যায় না। তিনি শুধু জনগনের কষ্টার্জিত অর্থ নিয়েছেন।
তা ছারা সে (রবীন্দ্রনাথ) ছিল ইংরেজদের তল্পি বাহক।
ঠিক সেই সময়ে কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম ভারতের স্বাধীনতার পক্ষে এবং
ইংরেজদের বিরুদ্ধে কবিতা লিখে জেল খেটেছিলেন।
(৩) সেই সময়ে রবীন্দ্রনাথ'রা ছিল জমিদার ও কোটী-পতি,
বাংলার গরীব মুসলমানদের সামাজিক, অর্থনৈতিক বা
সামগ্রিক অবকাঠামো উন্নয়নে তাঁর কোন কর্মকান্ডে পাওয়া যায় না। শুধু
পাওয়া যায় বাংলা সাহিত্যে বকর বকর করা কিছু সাহিত্য (!)
ঐ সমস্ত বস্তা পচাঁ সাহিত্য বা দিয়ে কী হবে (?)
যদি দেশের মানুষ না বাঁচে (?)
(৪) কলিকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থাকা সত্যেও তিনি (রবীন্দ্রনাথ) শান্তিনিকেতন
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপন কারী। অথচ,
ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপনকালীন সময়ে রবীন্দ্রনাথের মতো হিন্দু কুলীন'রা তার বিরোধীতা করেন।
কারনঃ দেশের সে অংশে ভাগে মুসলমান সংখ্যাগরিষ্ট (!) মুসলমান সাহিত্য তার সৃষ্টি কর্মে অনুপস্থিত।
তার ছাড়া মুসলমান গৌরব ও প্রশাসন নীচে নামিয়ে রবীন্দ্রনাথের বহু গল্প ও লিখা পাওয়া যায়।
এ সমস্ত উদাহরন থেকে বুঝা যায় মুসলমান নিয়ে তিনি উদার ছিলেন না।
এ দিক দিয়ে আমাদের কবি দুঃখ মিঞা উদারই ছিলেন।
(৫) পূর্ব বাংলার মুসলমানদের পশ্চিম বাংলার হিন্দুরা বলতো বাঙ্গাল অর্থাৎ
মূর্খতারূপ ও অশিক্ষিত। অর্থাৎ এ অঞ্চলের মুসলমানরা অর্থনৈতিকভাবে নিষ্পেষিত।
অথচ তাদের উন্নয়নমুখি উদ্যোগ রূপে ১৯০০ সালের প্রথম দিকে যখন এ, কে ফজলুল হক
দেশ ভাগের উদ্যোগী হলেন তখন রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর বাধা দিলেন এবং
গগন হরকরা'র গানের সুর নকল করে
"আমার সোনার বাংলা
আমি তোমায় ভালোবাসি"
গান রচনা করলেন আর সেই গানই এখন বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় সংগীত (!)
(৬) এখন সবার কাছে আমার প্রশ্নঃ
এ, কে, ফজলুল হক সাহেব যখন দেশের এ অঞ্চলের পিছিয়ে পরা
জনগনের উন্নয়নে দেশ ভাগের উদ্যোগ নিলেন তখন কি সে
রবীন্দ্রনাথের গাইটের (বা তার বাবার) টাকায় সে উদ্যোগ
এ, ক, ফজলুল হক নিয়েয়েছিলেন না দেশের গরীব হিন্দু ও
মুসলমানদের ট্যাক্সের টাকায় ?
রবীন্দ্রনাথ বাধা দেওয়ার কে ???

আপনার তো জনসমক্ষে আসা উচিত,,আপনি রবীন্দ্রনাথ কে বিচার করছেন,, এমন কি তার লেখার সম মানের লেখা কোনগুলি তাও আপনি চোখে আঙুল দিয়ে বোঝাচ্ছেন,,তার নোবেল পাওয়া নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তুলেছেন,তার লেখা jugment আপনি করছেন অর্থাৎ আপনি নিশ্চই অনেক বড় মাপের লেখক, কবি,বা সাহিত্যিক কিছু একটা। তো আমাদের ও আপনার লেখা পড়ার সুযোগ করে দিন।
আর তার নিজ জীবন?সেটা নিয়ে নাহয় নাই বললেন,,কারণ আপনি কমেন্ট করছেন মানে আপনি বেঁচে আছেন।তাঁর, সময় ছিলেন না বা তাঁকে কাছথেকে দেখেননি। তাহলে পবিত্র একটা সম্পর্ক কে এরকম নাম দিয়ে নিজের মনের পরিচয় নাই বা দিলেন।

You erased all misgivings . Our Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore had everything written in his two vast memoirs. Why should we believe in any other books? He had cleared it all....
Kadambari Devi committed suicide after 15years of her marriage.We are interested to know what triggered this incident.
She tried twice, first time she failed, immediately brought under treatment. She succeeded in the second time. The reasons held responsible were loneliness, the grievance of not having a child of her own and her husband's being too busy with his occupation. Jyotirindranath was a busy man on stage and a businessman. He didn't succeed in his ventures but they were all laced with the eagerness to uphold nationalism. He was a patriot by heart. He was a great playwright and several of his plays were smashing hit, enacted in several languages.

Jyotirindranath and Kadambari had been his Mentor, his friend and guide in his youth...Yes..Angshuman...you are perfectly right...Rabindranath dedicated several songs to his Notun Bouthan....

ভাই যতই যা করিস না কেনো..ফালতু বাড়িয়ে রেখার একটা limit আছে।
তুই কি ওই সময় ছিলি যে বলছিস? আর সবচেয়ে বড় কথা হলো এই গুলোর কোনো লিখিত প্রমাণ নেই, শুধু imagination দিয়ে বাড়িয়ে বাড়িয়ে বলা ছাড়া কিছুই নয়।
