    Great video, thank you! I cut up an old yogurt lid instead of cutting board and clamped it together. Maybe not as uniform of a press, but still worked well.

    How did you cut the cutting board so clean and shape it?

    • @DavidPhamChannel
      @DavidPhamChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Just with a saw and then sanded.

      @@DavidPhamChannel Thanks, David. Followed your process and just took off the clamp after 3 hours… now sitting for 21 hours. So far so good!

    How would you clamp/add backing to a patch at the base of one of the fingers? In my case ring finger.

    • @DavidPhamChannel
      @DavidPhamChannel  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a tough one, never had a glove wear away there before. The same way I suppose, you'd need a smaller piece of packing that can fit into the finger area.

    Will the glued patch still be soft and malible? I used shoe goo on my gloves before and it made them stiff and rigid

      @DavidPhamChannel  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This isn't shoe glue. The glue is awesome, the patch stays soft and flexible in warm and cold weather. Try it!

      @@DavidPhamChannel awesome, I will try it

    If I’m patching a hole in my palm, would it be better to put the glue around the hole, instead of on the patch?

    • @DavidPhamChannel
      @DavidPhamChannel  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd say it depends, putting the glue on the glove would make less mess where the hole is but if you are using some plastic backing it doesn't matter since it will just dry and not stick to anything. Putting the glue on the patch ensures the patch is completely covered in glue including the edges. If you make sure to cover the entire area of the patch I don't see a problem with applying the glue directly to the glove.

      Hack saw will cut the cutting board just fine:)

      @@RedMile04 Just used a jig saw, it melted back together right behind the cut, , another pass cleaned it right up though.
