Oh you are probably going to do more than catching bad guys, because the swat is also about saving hostages and disarming explosives, but as a swat, you have to be careful because some bad guys don’t give up as easily without a fight, and there are many boobytraps that could be in the building that the bad guy is in as well, and you also have to watch your friends back when it comes to breaking and entering.
I'd personally not want to be a SWAT operator, due to the fact JTF2 is a much better paying, and requires a much more refined skill set, and you don't kill false calls, wait around all day wondering whether you have to go or not, but when your called into operate in a situation, you're professional, and ready to perform your duties.
When I was 5 year old I also dreamed of becoming a SWAT Team Member, you know what, in that time nobody gave a shit about me and fox news didnt came to interview me, you just get lucky enough.
