In an early performance Till added a little extra sadness to the slow part where he repeats "Mutter" right before the sparks happen. He used to add a little and very desperate sounding "Mama?" ( "mommy") right before he blows it off with the final shouting of "Mutter". Can't find the performance any longer sadly but it hit differently that much I can say.

Because even if the Riffs make this Song special the lyrics are a the real gem in this Song.
