Cycling films do not get big views on my channel but if you watch them you will see they are not really about the cycling but where I use bikes to get to and what there is to see
Lovely video Bruce and liked the soundtrack gently playing in the background. I always learn a bit more history when I watch your videos. Thanks again Carl 😊
Hi bruce tad off subject but ive just watched mr hewes latest vid...and wow what a story especially ending wow....his channel is so diverse as is yours brilliant stuff...
Thank you David, we watched Joe’s new film yesterday and fascinating history under hi feet, and the US Army using it then some revisiting, and lovely pictures at the end, i spied a Jeep in one! 😁 I hope to do more films like this over winter 😁👍
Very nice video Bruce. Birds will get drunk on those orange berries if they ferment on the tree. 🥴 A lot of the plywood used to build WWII mosquitoes was imported from Canada as well. 👍🥃
Another great video Bruce did you know that the mill wheel is an undershot version which is the earliest form of wheel, which means the mill never got upgraded to a breast shot or the most efficient overshot wheel in later centuries.
Hi Andrew thanks and i never knew that about the wheel, there is another mill wheel at Tyninghame where the main road narrows in now a private garden and i think it is the same, In 1970 when my late dad started as Countryside Ranger he looked after the mill until the National Trust too over, i should have listened to him more as he would have known this and other facts about the mill, he loved to point out the flood water levels to my brother and i 😁👍
@@Coastriderscotland it's good to have memories of your father like that, my dad knew his local history and would point out what happened where and because I was a boy I would roll my eyes and think boring. Now I bore my grand children with history. What goes around comes around as they say. 😉

Hi Dave, we had a week of mist, then last week stunning weather with warmer than average temps! Back to grey and damp today! 😜
So sociable on the bicycle, you can chat with your pals as you ride along :)
A great way to show your friends local stuff 😁👍
