@zeldalord123 The budget for the music and the budget for the acting were handled by two separate countries. The music was produced in Japan after all, and the budget for that handled by either Imageepoch or Marvelous Entertainment. The English acting was produced by the morons over at Ignition Entertainment, who probably spen more money taking the game from publisher XSEED than what was actually put into localizing this game.
While I think it probably would have been better if localized by XSEED, I don't think you can say that Ignition STOLE it from them. You don't know every detail of what went on during the localization process, and Ignition's translation was pretty spot on. They did a great job handling the dialogue, both the serious and joke stuff. Plus, I actually LIKED the voice acting, but I can see why people wouldn't. I think Ignition deserves quite some thanks. Favorite Wii RPG right here
actually the translation's a miss, as story dialogue is about 95% intact, while supportive and NPC dialogues can be pretty rough, around 70% intact (some dialogue boxes/messages where given to completly different characters for example)
@TragicPrinceAlpha We would have gotten the game anyway if Igntion hadn't published it. XSEED Games was originally going to localize it, and they are a heck of a lot more reputable than Ignition. However, Ignition stole the game from them, and did a dissmal job on the localization. They deserve no amount of thanks.
Most badass Rogress is a tie between Alull and Mashgar to me. Alull is hot and rapes everything, and Mashgar is awesome looking and rapes everything. Tis a hard choice.
This game is good, nice story, nice characters, a few variety of normal monsters, nice bosses, excellente music... but the ending was a bit dissapointing.
It's funny to see how people hate the Voice Acting so much and whine about it. If you wanted the 'perfect' VA it would take months, or even years to find the right one to even release the game. Quit complaining. I like the VA and I had no problem with it.
yea that games the kind where you have to let the VA grow on you. I feel bad for L'arcs actor the most even stating how he wish he couldve done better but took it as a lesson learned in his acting

But then I remembered that the chances of such a thing happening are pretty damn close to 0. Due to Imageepoch no longer being around for a long while.

The only voice acting that I found was really lacking at times was Dynos. However it wasn't enough to change my view of the game.
I can see where the budget for this game went. This battle theme is absolutely captivating, but the voice acting is just horrendous.
