French and science summer school program in France : Vancouver student's POV

Eva from Vancouver, Canada, shared her incredible experience with the French and Science Sustainable Development Program in Montpellier, made possible by a scholarship from the Embassy of France in Canada and its Science services based at the Consulate General of France in Vancouver. As an Environmental Sciences major at the University of British Columbia, Eva was drawn to the program’s diverse focus on topics like sustainable housing, renewable energy, and green transitions, as well as the immersive French classes. The program offered a mix of field experiences and classroom discussions with peers from around the world. She appreciated the range of perspectives from her fellow students, who came from various academic and geographical backgrounds, such as business, engineering, agriculture, and international relations.
