Great pace for fast and dirty review. Would recommend in linear equations with fractions, first multiply all terms by LCD (least common denominator) to get rid of the fractions to lessen the chance of simple math errors, as in 4b of linear equation review.
13:07 The solution should be x = 4! You accidentally added the 5/15 and the 6/15 and wrote down 21/15 😵 Your video is very helpful regardless and I'll have to finish watching later when I have spare time. Thanks for sharing, Brian!

very great video but there are slight mistakes, like 2:12:25 you didn't factor x^2 which results in a non-simplified answer (x^2 - 9) can be simplified by difference of square
There a quite a few more corrections that should be added to this video. I recommend adding annotations to the video that will pop up to tell you what the correction is at the time it's needed.
This is a very good video which gave me a good revision on my fundamentals. However there were a lot of basic calculation errors during the "Polynomial Review" section (basically the later half of the video) of the video which completely influenced the answer. An instance would be in 2:11:19, you would factor by 2x^2 not 2x thus the answer would be (x+9) (2x^2-5). I assume Brian was super tired while filming this video. Watch out guys your calculation are not wrong :)
You're correct. The answer is x=4. I worked on this problem multiple times because I kept getting x=4. I thought I did something wrong because I solved it a bit differently by eliminating the fractions when I multiplied all of the terms by the LCD, which is 15. I thought I did something wrong. Finally, I just plugged it into my calculator, and the answer is x=4. When you plug 4 in for X you will get -2/3 on both sides. All that aside, great content. It is a lot of work to go over so much material in two and a half hours. Small mistakes are to be expected, and we can still learn from the small errors. Thank you, I appreciate everything you've done.
Wow, I have to retake precalculus next semester after not touching math for 3 years 😟This all sounds familiar but I pretty much have to re learn everything before the semester

You're correct, 5 is a solution, unlike what Brian said, but the answer is infinite solutions. (Ik this is 5 months late, but I wanted you to know anyway because I was confused at first and this comment helped me realize)
You are right, solving the equation you get 5 = 5 . Then you have to test it by replacing in the equation and you come up with the conclusio that the answer is R - (5)
Will this course work well for me if I did algebra 2 but have trouble remembering everything from the course and plan to take pre calculus relatively soon at college? I’m worried about taking a very long course to jog my memory in the short time I have. Thanks!

Hey Brian, I am currently 12 credits away from graduating but unfortunately, I have been out of school for 10 years one of the classes I am taking this upcoming spring semester is "Integrated Calculus Analysis Geometry I" do you think this video is a good enough refresher for me?
Look up Dr. Hoover on TH-cam, he has some really comprehensive review of what you would find in that class. This video is a bit more elementary than a class like that, consider Dr. Hoover or combine Brians video here with some follow-up on calc 1 and trig.
11:55 5+6=11 not 21. So it's 11/15 which means the final answer is actually 4. Mistakes happen, but I noticed in the pinned comment, you "corrected" the problem and made the exact same mistake. Saying that 5 + 6 = 21. I feel like as a math teacher you should be more careful than that.
May be you are in a hurry Brian. There are a few arithmetic mistakes which as a co teacher, I understand. Else your coverage is good. Thanks for the video.

@1:59:23 it should be 5x=2x-6 (not -3) which would gives the -2 answer. I really appreciate your video. Helped me a lot. I'm going back to school and needed a refresher
